Ok...I KNOW im not paying 800 for a console. Is there any store that isn't jacking up the price by selling them in these rediculous bundle packs? Also if you could tell me the name of the pack that has the harddrive, a wireless controller, and a wireless xbox live headset, it would be greatly appreciated. I'm currently trying to find one, but it seems that every store is trying to screw everyone over.

Well I found the name of that package. Its the "premium" package...yeah the mother fuckers are selling the premium packages along with like 3 other games and are trying to say it's worth 800 dollars.

You bring this up now? Those bundle deals have been up for over a month now. Also, the prices for the core package and premium packages have been up for a long time as well. GET WITH THE TIMES MAN!

Yeah, I had my package preordered a long time ago. The prices have been around for a long time. They aren't jacking it up as it's released, the bundles just cost that much. Especially when most of the 360 games are 60 instead of 50. Good luck getting a package that doesn't have like 2-4 games in it.

Oh and Mecha...for a good few months I heard it was gonna be 399 for the premium package...im not gonna sit around and worry if they're gonna raise it another 400 dollars before it's released, I mean thats just friggin rediculous.

Yeah, if you were good enough to get into a store early today, you could have gotten one. BUT most of the online 360's come in a package, like mine did.

Technically no prices changed. What happened, was that apparently some stores decided to only sell so many systems (or any systems at all, in some cases) if you bought the system with at least so many games or accessories. Hence the $800 price tags you're hearing of online.

I know at GS we were selling them for $399, no additions required, but you had to have a reserve. Spent all day turning people away.

I know! I got thirty-some calls before I opened the store. (I'm ASM at the olathe GS now, BTW)

I preordered it and I really like it. The console itself is ugly, but the games look pretty and PGR3 is some hawt shit. And Perfect Dark Zero brings me back to the old N64 party's with Richie and the rest of the gang from Hell.

I guess I can't wait until this coming Sunday's broadcast so you all can brag your asses off about it

The only thing I'll brag about is how PDZ got a 9.0 from Gamespot. No 360 for me.

Yeah, I was shocked that it got a 9.0 before I got the game. It really does run well on the 360 and PGR3 is just orgasmic.

anything from 7 up is buyable.

So with the exception of the horrid Tony Hawk port, everything else is mainly good to great(PGR, pdZ and Call of Duty).

It's consistent, for sure. As consistent as Richie's propensity to bag hoes at Dunkin Donuts and Atticus' propensity to shoot cops on sight at the same Dunkin Donuts.

While I want to play some of the games, there's no way I'm buying the system for a while. It's just to much, and the jacking up of the game prices is pretty shitty too. I'll wait till the price drop next year you know will happen with 2 mor systems coming. And then I can at least get used games cheaper. I'm not paying $60 for every new game either. The occasional collectors eddition, ok, but not every one.

Still I'd love to play PD and Condemned. Impressions?
