I watch anime, I know some of the companies and dub it and make it, and I even know a little bit about the differences between the uncut stuff in Japan and the dubbed stuff over here.
Now do you all think that sometime they will be allowed to show full uncut dubs of anime shows? I mean EXACTLY as they were in the original over in Japan but just with English voices? I don't see why not but with people's beliefs that cartoons should be kid friendly and stuff I find that it may be difficult for such a time to occur. An anime channel that showed even the subs of uncut anime would be very nice, is there anything like that on the horizon that most don't know about yet?

About dubbed anime and the near future...
Ya know, I don't think I've heard of anyone planning on doing that. If they wanted to do something like that, they'd have to call the voice actors back in and pay them again to re-dub the cut-out portions.
I believe they did it with Dragon Ball Z, but I haven't heard of any plans to do so with any of the more butchered series, like One Piece or Yu-Gi-Oh. We were lucky to get YGO unedited subtitled-only DVD releases here in the US (even if no one really wants them).

The Anime Network, owned by ADV Films, plays all of their dubbed anime shows. Almost all of their anime is totally uncut (they only show theirs).
Direct TV carries The Anime Network, however Bright House Networks/Time Warner Cable does not at this point in time; they only have The Anime Network on Demand which are select series and episodes.
VIZ is also starting up an anime channel, however the details aren't currently known.
