FFX-2 is awesome. Once you get over the cheesy J-Pop stuff...the dress spheres actually are awesome.

Alrighty, here's where I stand:

Currently at the base of Mt. Gagazet, Kimahari just got done beating down the two Ronso assholes.

So, I've got about an hour of climbing to do, fighting my way up. Baddies are mixed: Some of those self-destructing balls of fire that go bang after three hits, some dragonfly-type aerial goons, and some four armed thugs with 15,000 HP. Auron is hitting 1600s reguarly, Wakka is hitting the same, Lulu has Fira, ect., plus Bio. But Tidus and Kimahari are only hitting 400s. Weaksause.

And God dammit, I've been up this hill three fucking times, I'm not gonna blow it this go-round.

See, I'm lazy: I've not done any side quests. Blitzball, monster catching, nothing. I've also not taken any special time to train characters, which has me worried that I'll need to do some leveling before the coming boss fights...

yeah, I got to the last monster catching monster, he was like impossible to kill lol I trained pretty hard and got sick of blitz ball

Well, I've run into Seymour again, hopefully the last time.

Mr. Flux is quite the nasty bastard this time around. He's got a zombie attack, a full-life attack that kills instantly, and Cross Cleave, that hits for 2200+ on all characters.

So, knowing from experience that I'm not gonna win the first go-round, I just watch Seymours, heal the team, and feel out what attacks to use. Doesn't last long, so I go back to the last save, head back down the mountain, and run around in circles: Fight the little dudes, get the aeons overdrived, and hit Seymour with all they have. That means he'll be down at least 40,000 after all five.

It's all on track, three aeons down and everyone alive, when Seymour pulls out Cross Cleave. I've been so intent with aeons, I've let heath go to hell, and everyone dies.

Scrub, rinse, repeat for the 3rd attempt.

I think the game is trying to tell me something: If my party can't survive Cross Cleave, then I need to do some leveling. So, back down the mountain for me...

yes, that was one of the hardest seymours in the game , cross cleve is a nasty attack, he hit me with that tidus had like 10 hp left got into overdrive and beat the fucker, kind of lucky but you know, a win is a win, then i did a shit load of leveling up... good luck on your fourth attempt..
