I think the SP was worth buying. Same size screen, lit, rechargable battery, clamshell screen-protecting design. But this version looks TOO small.

I don't think you want one. But when you see it and hold it in person, you fall under its spell. As sexy as the SP was, this is even more sexier. If they get the price right, this thing is going to sell really well. I played one today that was tethered to some both babe. It was awesome.

For some reason Game Boy and sexy dont' belong in the same sentance. It's like gaming system pediophillia.

I think hes using sexy and gameboy in the same sentence because his mind has mixed up images of the booth babe the thing was tethered to and the GBA Micro itself.

personally i'm not going to get a micro. however, i don't understand the bias against handheld gaming. specially when so many people talk about how they love retro nes games and talk about their old carts they got sitting around. half of the appeal for me is that handheld games play like old games, which i feel are better.

ummm, how many different ipods have they brought out in 3 years? And people keep buying them.
sounds like a bunch of hating going on.

You're right about the IPod thing. They just keep pumping out different colors and people buy them all.
As for the Micro, I have no intent to get this system at all. My SP is perfect, and it plays the classic GB and GBC games, which I still play on occasion. Actually I play the original Tetris quite regularely.
Then again I don't care about how cool someting looks. I'd buy the ugliest piece of equipment if it worked great.

Wait a minute who the hell actually cares about what something looks like as long as it runs well and works well? Thats like not getting an Xbox 360 because of its akward shape even though you know its gonna run some kickass games. Or not getting a PS3 just because it looks like a George Foreman Grill

I agree, except I have yet to see kick ass games for either.

I don't really care what my console looks like; style it like a toaster for all I care. My problem is the lack of innovation. It feels like Nintendo is just re-re-releasing their handheld to cash in on the Weezer-types. I'd rather they save their money and put it towards Revolution, so it'll stand a better chance of competing with the next-gen.
