You might want to post in the thread called, "All Bitching Aside." It's all about the PSP shit.

Sony sucks.

I'll get one when the price comes down, as I've always said.

Jealous that I still have 400 bucks in my bank account? Jealous that I have a 27 inch screen to play on instead of the 3-4 inch of the PSP?

Hmmmm....not really...

I'm with Break on this one...as the price comes down, I'll CONSIDER it.

Why do you keep saying $400? It's $250.

Are the games permenently $50? $50 is way too much for a portable game. At that rate games on next gen systems WILL be 70 or so. It's a money pit for now.

Its not unfair that game costs go up over time. The graphics, size, and scope of games keep getting better and better, therefore the development costs are higher. Even if you only factored in inflation games would get more expensive over time.

That's true, but still, a lot of people are not going to be able to get new games anymore when they cost over 70 bucks. That's getting a little absurd. Hopefully when Xbox 2 and PS3 come out games will still be "Reasonable."

Who knows? Microsoft claims that with the dev tools they will supply, developers will be able to save time and money and therefore keep the cost of the games down. Hopefully.

SNES games were more expensive then the gen after, so it's not a natural progression. I believe FF3 was $70 when it came out on SNES.

$50 a pop is still a lot for a video game. With all the money they are making in profit, I see little reason for it to go any higher. For $70 the game better be perfect with no glitches, and top quality.

Well, BIG games make a big profit, but what about smaller games? It might be hard for small companies who aren't sure whether their game is going to sell to compete price-wise with bigger, better-known developers. Bottome line, I'll pay for a good game.

19.99 for the ESPN series. For my money that is the best series around for that price new.
