Read or Die is subbed professionally, while Inu Yasha episodes are subbed by fans, for fans. Cartoon Network is also airing american voice dubs nightly, you might want to take a look
.

FLCL and Kenshin rock, but top choice of mine has got to go to Fushigi Yuugi. Word to the romantic drama, yo!

I would dearly love to, but Cartoon Network doesn't serve the area where I live. Im especailly pissed about it, becuase Im a big
Lupin fan and they are airing episode of that nightly, but I cant get them.
Also, Rurouni Kenshin kicks ass.

Well, I am not sure if y'all have checked out Reign (12 pm est on Cartoon Network). It's done by the same people who did Aeon Flux for MTV. The art styles are pretty much the same, the battle sequences all involve classic weaponary, and the story involves historical elements, along with a fantasy undertones, plus the setting screams out to the sci-fi future. Tonight was the second episode out of I am not sure, but if nothing else to expand your knowledge of anime check it out. I happen to enjoy it immensely.

I tell a lie... I checked around and Cartoon Network is in my area, although it is not ecconomically feasible for me to get.
For one, where I live, we dont have any Cable. So my only option would be Satilite. That is $60/m (for only 12 channels) and that doesn't include the dish, reciever, and installation costs.
Secondly, we are currently renting this house, and we are moving out in 5 months. So it is a waste of monies to get a dish installed, plus most contracts are for 12 to 18 months anyway, and we (my family) may not even be in this country that far in the future.
Also, Cartoon Network isn't even playing
Inu Yasha here.. All were getting is
Bebop (which Ive already seen) and
DBZ &
Pokemon.

Well, besides all the above stated reasons for not getting sattelite, they too Inu Yasha off the air
, and replaced it with Reign. I have yet to look at Reign, but I'm still kinda pissed they took it off the air. Oh well, I can still get my Yu Yu Hakusho and Cowboy Bebop
.

Well, tonight is Act XII of Reign. I can definately make an informed opinion out of it now.
Artwork - The artwork is almost identical to the way Aeon Flux was drawn. You notice that their is a lot of skin shown, and the characters seem obscenely skinny. Buildings are done to look like classical buildings built with futuristic features entertwined within them. The battle sequences are nicely done, but very quick, and very symbolic.
Plot - The story moves along at what I think is a moderate pace, some episodes are slower then others. The main story is based upon Alexander the Great, but there is a very strong mythological and Technological aspect thrown into the mix. There are plenty of twists and turns among the main plot, enough so that I have not yet missed an episode.
Music - The music is moderately nice, I can't find it anywhere, but it is almost all instrumental (besides some vocals in opening theme) and is used mainly to enhance what is going on in the show. Think of the music from the Age of Empire series by Microsoft.
Overall - I was a big fan of Aeon Flux and I also am a big fan of Reign, the first episode is already out on DVD (I saw it today at Best Buy), I think I might wait for a box set. I wouldn't call it the best anime ever quite yet, and won't until I see the whole series, but it is ranking up there.
