Which DS titles are you picking up?

There are the titles. I think there have been some changes. Either some pushed back or some added.

Asphalt Urban GT
Feel the Magic: XY/XX
Madden NFL 2005
Metroid Prime: First Hunt demo (Comes with system)
Mr. Driller Drill Spirits
Pictochat (Comes with system)
Ping Pals
Rayman DS
Ridge Racer DS
Spider-Man 2
Super Mario 64 DS
Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2005
The Urbz: Sims in the City

Some of the titles won't be released exactly on November 21st. Actually, I think some titles are being released even before the DS system itself launches. Anyways, some of them will be available on November 21st and the rest should be out in the following weeks after that. Yes, the US launch won't be as abundant as the European or Japanese launch, but we do get it before any of them do. I heard the European release might not come with the Metroid Prime: First Hunt demo because it'll be close to the release of the full version of the game. Also, Europeans have to pay alot more, some thing like 130 pounds or quids which equals like $240. But then again, Europe gets free healthcare, free college, and whatnot. Many Europeans are considering importing the US system.

I'll only be able to afford to pick up one title on November 21st. That title will be Mario 64 DS. But I do plan on picking up Mr. Driller Drill Spirits, and Spider-Man 2. I'm debating on picking up Feel the Magic: XY/XX, Madden NFL 2005, and Ridge Racer DS. I think it's awesome that even if I didn't pick anything up I'd still be able to play Metroid Prime: First Hunt demo and use Pictochat. I think the first title I'm going to play when I first open my DS is the Metroid Prime: First Hunt demo. I'm going to play against anyone else that is there with me when I pick up my DS and hopefully I will kick all their asses.

yeah, i think you start out as yoshi, but that isn't a big deal because later you get caps which turn you into mario, or luigi, or wario. there are tons of mini games, and a battle mode where players hunt for stars and can knock the other plays around to get their stars.

right now i am only getting mario 64 ds. mr. driller won't be out for a while. same with ubisoft and thq titles. not that that really bugs me. personally i'm waiting for next years titles. i also want to test out feel the magic, madden, ridge racer, and spiderman 2. but till i get a jorb i'm not really picking anything up.

This is Japan's lauch (December 2) title list...

Super Mario 64 DS
Pokemon Dash
Band Brothers (Jam with the Band)
Chokkan Hito Fude
Zoo Keeper
Mahjong Taikai
The Urbz: Sims in the City
Kimi no Tame Nara Shineru
Kenshuui Tendou Dokuta
Tounou ni Asekaku Game Series! Vol. 1 Cool 10 4 Joker & Setline
Mister Driller DS

If I'm not mistaken, Mario Kart DS will also be a launch title in Japan. We'll get Mario Kart DS on January 10.

These are the title that will be released in the following weeks...

Puyo Puyo Fever
Tennis no Oujisama 2005 Crystal Drive
Balloon Fight
Metroid Prime Hunters Tounament
Nintendogs
Advance Wars
Another
Yakuman DS
Egg Monster Hero
Pac Pix
Meteos
Ganbare Goemon
Jissen Pachislo Hisshopou! Hokutou no Ken DS

Like I said, Japan has better launch titles, but we get the system first. Hopefully, more obscure titles will be brought to the US. I for one hope that Egg Monster Hero gets released over here, but chnaces are slim. But there is hope, for some reason we are getting more and more dating sims, something that's more prominent and more popular in Japan than in the US. So, if they're bringing dating sims over here, hopefully they're bring a odd Square-Enix title over here.

I'm interested in Mario DS too, since I never played it a lot. Can't you play it if someone else has the cartridge, is that multiplayer only.

Also how does that work, after you transfer the game to your DS does it clear out after you powerdown?

If not then people could kind of play a game for free. It's probably wishful thinking.

in mulitplayer mode only a few levels, and i would guess mini-games, are playable with only one pack. also you can't keep them and play later since they are mulitplayer modes, not single player modes. therefore useless without someone else around. so no you can't download and save. atleast not this way.

word on the internets is that you might later be able to go download demo's from kiosks in places like target or eb. but this is just speculation, and wishful thinking. though i wouldn't doubt it be true, since nintendo is already suggesting movie download tie ins. however, they are just talking about it and say they don't know how they would do it, but think it would be cool if they could do it.

Feel the Magic: XY/XX looks like it might be cool. It seems akin to those weird japanese dating sims. I'm REALLY suprised they're releasing it in america, props to nintendo for taking a chance.

I heard Feel the Magic is something more like a dating sim mixed with WarioWare. Oddly enough, Ubisoft is releasing a real dating sim on the DS. It's called Sprung. I don't know about you but I think that's just embarassing.

I won't be getting a DS on or probably near launch, but I definitely plan on getting one as soon as I can. I really want to play Mario, Metroid, Mario Kart, Wario Ware, Spider-Man 2. Some of those others look interesting too, so hopefully Gamefly will cary DS games like they currently cary GBA titles. And I'm almost sure there will be a Four Swords game on the DS eventually, so that would be great fun as well.

I just hope one of my local stores had some display units so I can check them out as soon as possible.
