It's surprising enough that Spiderman 2, the movie, is a great film and in my opinion better than the first. But the videogame sequel is better than the original as well. It seems like videogame developers have finally woken up from their slumber to put some actual effort into making a video game based off a movie worth while to the gaming community.

I just picked this game up yesterday and I'm thoroughly impressed with the changes both big and small they've made with this title. If you haven't checked this one out, at least go rent it, it's worth the $$$ to give it a whirl.

Yeah it is totally worth it. If nothing else, its just fun to swing around and climb shit. I would literally buy it for just that. Who wouldn't want to be Spiderman?

Agreed, it was all I was playing the other night, just swinging along fighting crime like a good friendly neighborhood spiderman does.

i bought the game, only $35 at nebraska furniture mart:).

Initially i was impressed, but that has COMPLEALTY worn off.
The only fun i have is searching for those tokens hidden every where.

The boss fights are unneccisarily dumb and boring.
The only GOOD boss fight was your final incounter with mysterio.

I loved that...it was so funny.

The fighting is really gay ho, and so is the whole attempt at story.
Fighting shocker was the only real fighting going on.

Regular street thugs block and dodge ALL of spidey's attcks, untill you just stop hitting them, and wait for them to swing at you. Then you can counter attack.

The game is frustraigtingly hard.

Not becouse it is in and of itself hard, but becouse it dosen't work right.\

the great spiderman can at no point climb up or down his web, and he can never target a specific spot to shot it.

It was a good concept, and the freedom is great, but litterly every other aspedct of the game ranks from mediocre to poor.

They say they spent 6 months desighning the swinging, and the city must've costed a fair amount of time to.

Maybe in 2007 when spiderman 3 comes out, they will have worked on the other things in the game.

Yeah, I've jumping and than webbing your opponents up is one of the best tactics, if you can manage a webline for it. I'm particularly interested in completeing the shutterbug challenges of the game, though timed trials are not one of my favorite concepts in the world, I still like this one.

btw: I frick'n hate Mysteryo in this game! Why won't he go away?!
