Fable

I'm simply sitting back and waiting for this one. Microsoft and the developers say septemeber, last time I checked, but the odds of this title facing another push to the back of the line would not surprise me. A shame that the "greatest rpg ever made" still isn't in the hands of the public. With all the media hype surrounding this bad boy, I hope it can live up to the unlimited potential gamers are putting on it's shoulders. For my part, I've already got a copy reserved.

I think that Fable has so much potential it bleeds. I am so excited for it. It look's a lot better than most of the other games coming out >:)

Oh, I agree. I've been waiting for this game for well over a year now. Even heard some funny stuff along the way. Apparently in one of the first versions of Fable, you were actually able to beat people into submission to force them to do what you wanted. Unfortunately the people ingame, were all women characters and this problem has been addressed last I heard. So there the goes the Wife Beater sim I was looking forward to. Still, the progession of time in game has got me sold, along side the graphics and action/consequence scenarios they've got cooked up.

I'm really looking foreword to this one too. And I'm hoping it makes its September date because I can then afford it outside of the mad holiday rush. I've got it pre-ordered at EB now too.

I'm really curious to see how advanced the AI in this game is. It's just going to be fun to see how characters react to the smallest things. I like the example Iheard about you being able to meet a guy who's cheating on his wife. You can then go tell, or not tell, and you will get different rewards. I'd tell him I won't tell, then get paid, and then tell her. I want to be sneeky like that. Like be a lerker and frame other people and stuff. It could be really fun.

If I remember right, and the alochol says I won't, you can copy move sets from npc's in the game. So new combat moves, or mundane moves can be copied and than placed into your move sets. Right down to copying a guy belching in the bar so that you can belch in the middle of the street at the push of a button to impress all the ladies!

Indeed Fable will rock. Everything I've seen and heard tells me that it will.

If it doesn't make the Sept. date, it's completely fucked. Come November, no one with an xbox will be playing anything other than Halo 2.

Oh please. Maybe Halo 2 will bomb cause everyone's playing Fable! Wouldn't that be funny!

That would make me so happy I probably would do some kind of extreme action yet to be undecided, you guys pick it, I'll do it if halo 2 tanks.

Halo 2 will not tank, the teeming masses of the FPS genre will not allow it to. There's probably people out there with limited edition copy and the regular copy reserved because they simply can't live without both. Sadly, that almost sounds like something I would do... hmmmm
