KOTOR 2!!!

I just got a LucasArts Insider email telling me that tomorrow (the 4th, my birthday!) LucasArts plans to announce Knights Of The Old Republic II: The Sith Lords. Setting is 5 years after KOTOR 1, and it's scheduled for PC and XBox release in February of 2005. (I'm pleased that PC and Xbox release dates are the same, pissed me off last time) It's not being developed by Bioware this time, it'll be developed by Obsidian Ent. Inc. (I have no knowledge of them, are they good? What have they done?) LucasArts said they'll be at E3, and I formally request that proper attention be paid by the BmX.com representatives to E3. So anyway, KOTOR 1 was awesome, I hope KOTOR 2 is as well. We'll be knowing more soon.

Ok, update: Obsidian Entertainment is brand new, founded by Feargus Urquhart, the same guy that was a huge player in Black Isle Studios (R.I.P.). Urquhart was instrumental with lots of games including Fallout, Icewind Dale, and Baldur's Gate. I now have complete confidence in Obsidian; KOTOR 2 should kick some ass next year.
