I went back to the dark side...

Ok well after days of deliberation I picked up Galaxies on Friday night and haven't really stopped since. The last time I played it was back in Beta 3 but once it went live I never got around to getting it. The game seems much more balanced now and speeders, speeder bikes and swoops have been added which makes getting to missions etc. a hell of a lot easier. I'm hooked. If anybody else is playing this or plans to I'm on the Starsider server (Unofficial RP server). Look up Dalzell Axost. I've been kicking it around on Naboo lately.

On a bit of a side note, the space expansion was announced earlier today.

We should expect a pretty big presence at E3, they said.

So...I guess we'll be covering that once we get there.

The only MMO I could possibly ever see myself trying in the future is Lineage 2. I went through several hardcore sessions with SWG, but the monotony and repetitiveness finally took its toll. WoW, EQ2, eh... they just look like the newest versions of the same old thing. City of Heroes looks kinda cool, nice to see some innovation. But Lineage 1 at its peak had subscriptions from one out of every three Koreans!! Ya, holy shit no kidding! It was enormously popular in Europe and Asia, and made American's EQ addictions look like middle-schoolers trying cigarettes for the first time. Asians are hard core! So anyway, with the sieging castles and stuff that allows you or your clan to have REAL power, Lineage 2 seems pretty sweet. It looks awesome too, and the class and levelling systems seem very well done.

Get me pictures, and whatever free stuff you can take. :D Now my biggest hurdle is getting enough money so I can actually afford a spacecraft once Jump to Lightspeed comes out. Right now the economy on SWG is enormously inflated compared to the Beta. You have players who all are multi-millionaires (not unusual for a player to have 250 million) and my n00b ass who has about 25K. Time for some missions I suppose.

Awww bro.. ye of little faith. I am somewhat obsessed with Galaxies right now and have explored the site, the pictures, the video.. everything. What I meant were pictures that Jack and Afro and everyone could take.. like of the booth and gameshots that aren't in the released screenshots... BreakmanX exclusives, if you will.

Oh hey, has Yankee seen the SWG Fuck Photo? Is that still uploaded on the site somewhere? It's great, you're looking up Break's crotch at Richie swearing at the Tatooine wildlife. Quite amusing.

Ya, I still have it, but it should be in the mainpage history, too. Sift back about five or six pages, and you'll probably find it.
