Here's a title I'm looking forward to. I mean c'mon, Star Wars mixed with Battlefield 1942! I can't wait to take control of an AT-AT and then crash it into stuff. In Battlefield 1942 I used to take control of aircraft carriers and crash them into enemy battleship and aircraft carriers. One time at a LAN party I did that and at the same time, like 10 people all said stuff like "Oh shit, what the hell is that!?" and then I sunk their ship and they all had to respawn elsewhere.

Dude no kidding. This game looks so fucking rad. September seems like too long of a wait for me. Battlefield mixing with Star Wars... I dunno.. speechless I guess. I wonder how many hours I will "waste" on this? I'm guessing somewhere around a bazillion.

I'm looking forward to this title, but I'm not jumping in head-first just yet. LucasArts can do some amazing things, but they can really screw things up sometimes too. I'm hoping it won't come off as a cheap clone of BF and DC, but will be unique. Still, using BF as inspiration makes me one happy little boy. I just hope they make it a good quality game. I don't mind paying $50 for a something like this if it's really good, as opposed to $40 for a cheap-ass Lucasarts p.o.s. For now though, Vietnam trumps Endor.

I wonder if they'll add Jedi as secret playable characters. But then it might be too much like Jedi Knight. And the Jedi will probably be too powerful with all their force powers. They better not leave out a skin to be Mon Calamari and they better put in a command that makes me yell out "IT'S A TRAP!" till someone kicks me off of a server and I make my own server where only people with Mon Calamari characters stand around and yell "IT'S A TRAP!" all day long.

No one here has heard of the Galactic Conquest mod? v0.2 is pretty good...

I've heard of it but haven't played it. Can you run around as Mon Calamari and yell out "IT'S A TRAP!"? What about that guy in the Mos Eisley Cantina that said "YOU'LL BE DEAD!" Can you run around as that guy? That guy only has one arm though cause bad ass Obi Wan chopped it off. How about Nien Numb, the guy that was sitting next to Lando in the 2nd Death Star battle in the Falcon. Can you play as him and speak funny inncoherent gibberish?

Siege... I have heard of it too but haven't played it. How is it? I figured they could do alright with the ship and character models.. but how are the levels? StarWarsy or Battlefieldy?
