So, any movies coming up that people are excited for? I want to see Troy and the Ladykillers. The Ladykillers looks hilarious, some people are saying this is Tom Hanks' best acting since Forrest Gump. Other critics don't like it, we'll see. Troy looks good, but I won't get to hyped till I see it myself. The last movie I saw was the Passion, which I really liked. Regardless what you think of Jesus, I thought the movie itself was very artistically done. Anybody got stuff to add?

Dawn of the Dead (great flick) VanHellsing and Hellboy are all ones I want to see (or see again)

my only problem with troy is that it doesn't look like the gods are in the movie. they are so important to the story so i'm not sure how they are going to work around them. not having the gods would make me really sad. i don't think it would be all that hard to put them in, but i'll have to wait to see how it turns out.

Hey Realm, I saw the Ladykillers this weekend and it was pretty damned good. It's a Cohen brothers movie (Fargo) so it's a pretty dark comedy. Like you I eagerly await Troy. But I also can't wait for Van Helsing and The Legend of Ron Burgundy.

It's too bad the last 2 movies on the list will probably only get limited theatrical releases, because Asian cinema rocks my freaking face off.

Kill Bill Vol 2 is at the top of my list, along with Passion and Eternal Sunshine.

maybe Jersey Girl, i like Smith's writing, but can't stand Affleck's acting.

It's kinda weird not having a Matrix or LOTR movie to look forward to. LOTR was kind of my life for 3 years. Oh well, maybe Star Wars Episode 3 will be halfway good. (C'mon George, three's a charm) Spiderman 2 looks pretty cool. Hellboy.... maybe. Is there any word on a possible DareDevil 2? Last I heard it may be years yet before DareDevil 2. Fox's tentative release date for X-men 3 is Summer 2006 (they haven't even finished signing actors)

my problem is that the punisher doesn't look remotely like the story it was based on. which upsets me. i mean i was never into the comic but i didn't want to see them change it when they made it into a movie.

as for hellboy. i read the book this movie was taken off of. the hellboy story they picked is great. and i think dan had a lot of influence in the script. so i'm not really worried on that one. the one wonder i have is if they are going to show that the main evil people were once nazis. but then again that doesn't really matter them being nazis is only important to show that they were connected to hellboy's birth.
