Hey kids, Afro here with big news!
We have a new server (Hosted by our good friend eChicken) which will soon be running servers of UT2K4 and Battlefield: Vietnam.

A tentative schedule for UT2K4 is as follows, and the game types will be changed on the servers around 8 or 9 in the morning:

Monday - Deathmatch
Tuesday - Mutant
Wednesday - Bombing Run
Thursday - Last Man Standing
Friday - Capture the Flag
Saturday - Onslaught
Sunday - Assault

How does that sound to y'all?

If you would like to see other things, instagib, lograv, rocket arena or any other requests, we'll get them set up for you.

And, since I haven't played BF:V, what requests do you have for that server?

Once this is finalized, we'll get this sticky with the ip and everything you'll need to know.

Check it all out, let me know, give me input, you guys are the ones who configure this server to how you want it, just let me know and it's done.

As far as BF: Vietnam goes I say we just run some Conquest and Expanded Conquest. Conquest is just like BF42, but in Expanded Conquest (Evolution Mode) a map begins as it would normally, but at the end of the battle the map’s alternate loads up. The scores, the team, and the player from the previous map are added to the new map and play resumes. Basically a team must ensure a close battle in one map if they hope to win the second. If you get blown away in the first map you'll have a hard hill to climb in order to win the second one.

It's a pretty cool mode and I like it quite a bit!

Indeed, Expanded is a great play mode, and really fun when you get together with a good bunch of guys on a server. As far as maps, I'm open, since there are few I seriously dislike.

Out of curiosity, will you be running Punkbuster?

Well guys. I'm still trying to work out the UDP ports necessary for the Battlefield: Vietnam server. If you try to connect and can't - send me an email.

If you do get connected, let me know how the quality of play is. I'm fighting with a cable modem pipeline for upload bandwidth. This limits how may players we can have on the server.
