Chopper was portrayed a bit cooler in the Japanese version, but you're not far off. Chopper really is an idiot... When I watched the episode when he first appeared, I was like, "Cool! A sociopath who doesn't use alchemy! They're givin' it some thought after all!" Indeed, I thought Chopper added a cool flair to the show nonetheless.
On another note, I got my hands on the latest trailer for the Fullmetal Alchemist movie. I'm nearly finished subtitling it, so if I can get it up and running, those of you wanting to view the trailer should keep an eye out for my Fullmetal Alchemist Movie Details topic to update itself.

Think they will show the movie on Adult Swim? It would absolutely suck if they didnt. Well I cant wait for FMA 2 for the PS2 (hopefully Xbox as well). Lets just hope its better than FMA1.

Don't like the Dragonball Z or GT series', or any of the movies. The only one, to me, that was of any interest was the original Dragonball... but noted; never touch them.
Currently, the movie isn't even licensed in America, so that question can be easily answered: No, they won't. If it is licensed, however, since they did show the InuYasha movies 1 and 2, I would say there is a good chance that they might show it.
From my various Japanese sources, the second FMA game seems to be almost exactly like the first, with minor differences that fix the not-so-important aspects of the game... still sucks. However, I have been keeping tabs on the latest FMA game that's due in Japan soon: FMA game 3. In FMA 3 you get to control both Ed and Al, there's a lot more to transmute and things you can transmute into, and the AI has been improved by a far margin. I'll keep an eye out on this one, but I suggest skipping 2 and waiting for 3 if they ever come out for the English speaking world.
I finished subtitling the trailer, now all I have to do is get it up... * evily eyes the person who hasn't sent that E-mail *

Welll DBZ Budokai 3 was pretty good. The first Budokai game was like a DBZ Encyclopedia with a fighting game thrown in for kicks (no pun intended). Budokai 2 sucked just because it was like a Mario Party game with kung fu...plus the characters were horrible imbalanced. Budokai 3 had a FUN fighting system and was not like a DBZ encyclopedia...plus the characters are more balanced...I suggest renting it if you dont have any other games to look forward to.
They should just give the FMA game to a company that knows how to do anime stuff. I mean I can think of a better system than having little hotspots where you can transmute. Transmuting spikes out of the ground or a wall for example...transmuting a cannon out of any surface and gunpowder you have - with the material the surface is made out of determining the strength of the cannon - would be another example. Or doing that shit that Scar does with the partial transmutations directly on enemies.

Anyone wanna give me a "Hell fucking yes!!" for the latest episode of FMA? Or maybe a "w00t!"? The shit's about to hit the fan and the action-packed/cool part of FMA has finally begun, and it only gets better from here on out...

Scar is actually starting to kick ass...and Greed seems like he could just go and pwn Lust and Gluttony. And even though Scar is starting to be cool, I still cant help but hate him for being some self rightious dumbass. He should be hunting down 4 people. (Cant remember names) Fire Alchemist, That strong wierdo, the friggin bomber, and uh o yes of course that Fuhrer. All this bitching about how the Philosipher's Stone is "evol" and "devastating" is really pissing me off...I mean seriously Ed just needs to go "Thats nice you stupid bitch now shut the fuck up"
The chimeras are starting to freek me out...they all look like lizards crossed with panthers or heyinas...and their leader is still a twisted freak...(when I first saw that thing I thought it didnt have a face because of the way its head was pointing.)
You werent kidding about the shit about to hit the fan because its like a centimeter away lol.
On a non FMA related note here....There used to be this anime on USA or TNT.(I think it was USA) But this dude had like this glove that let him move things with his mind or something similar. At the beginning of the anime he says hes going to use it to deflect a bunch of meteors or something back at the enemy and i have no idea who the enemy was...I think they were on another planet. He eventually gets abducted and takin the the enemy planet. (I remember him having this dream that made it seem like he was high on crack) But after he woke up this dude tried to put his glove on and it like twist up his hand...it looked like a train wreck after he got the damned thing off.

Scar's okay, in my opinion. My mind changed about him once the full backstory of his past was shown, I kinda realized why he is the way he is... I dunno, no other FMA fan agreed with me on that one, but oh well. We'll see eventually.
If this next episode isn't a two-partner, the one coming up is perhaps one of the dark episodes of the early part of the series. I love FMA because of the complexity, the emotion, and the power that it possesses. Also, the darkness that some episodes do have are used tastefully to pursue and further the story and to drive the depth deeper than it was. You're going to enjoy the next one.
Hmm... that anime that was on USA doesn't ring a solid bell but does sound somewhat familiar. I think I might've flipped past it once, but that was a long, long time ago for me.

Can I get a "w00t! w00t!" for episode 22? Comments and extreme praise for this episode is what I'm looking for.
Either its in a flashback later, or they actually cut a little from this episode. Unneccesarily, of course (I remember exactly what it was). Actually, they probably thought it was a little much but I never thought so. Oh well, I'll have to watch the next few and find out. I'm also writing this at the very end so I could have just missed it by chance.
I noticed, also, since this is practically the very first English dub epsisode I've watched full through, that they're mis-pronouncing Homonculi. The way they pronounce it really makes my skin wretch...
One final thing I did notice was Scott McNeil (better known as Piccolo) as Armstrong. This was a new one on me. Nice fit nonetheless.
EDIT: Okay, after watching the repeat, I am about 95% positive they cut about a good 15 to 20 seconds of material at the very end. It could still be a flashback thing in the coming next few episodes but somehow I kinda doubt it... It has been a while, true, but I still think they did cut it. For what reason, I have no idea.

Homunculi is pronounced correctly in the English dub.
If the Japanese version had a different pronunciation, then they were the ones who mis-pronounced it.
How is it pronounced in the Japanese version?

Umm Verence I dont think you want to get into it with him >>;
Episode 22 kicked total ass. Gluttony is pissing me off more than ever and could you tell me the name of the new Homonculi?
It always seems like the bad guys are always in control in FMA. I mean with the mad bomber dude and that new Homonculi kicking Ed's ass. Then Lust almost killing Ed's brother. And Gluttony with that stupid thing on his tongue that lets home bite through anything (Im not sure of this but thats most likely how he bit through Al ((I use logic
))).
I kinda wish I wouldve got to see what Ed wouldve ben like if he gained all the power from the red water...Lust about shit herself there for a second XD
But I dont get it..the red water is supposed to hurt you but instead it just started powering Ed up like Goku. Was it because he clapped his hands together to get the energy ready for a transformation, but sense he didnt do it, his alchemy powers were still active when he stepped into the water so it started powering him up like that?

Homonculi was a word I wasn't familiar with until FMA, and I'd never heard it before the Japanese version. In almost all accounts, it can be said that the Japanese can sometimes be extremely weird:
"Hoe moan coo(cu) ri" / "Hoe moan coo(cu) roo(ru) su" is, if memory serves correctly, how they pronounced it. I'd have to look over and episode to be 100% sure, but my computer won't be repaired until Wednesday night. Oh well.
The new Homonculi should be Greed unless I'm forgetting something that happened. I'm sure you've noticed that they're all named after one of the seven deadly sins... If you haven't... well... <slaps you>. Its a giveaway at how many Homonculi appear, so you basically just have to remember the order they appear and put the sin to the face to remember a character.
And you should get used to the fact that the bad guys are in control. Its a common factor throughout. Ed and Al are the underdogs if you haven't noticed yet: The bad guys know what's going on whereas our midget and his metal protagonist have shattered peices of a mirror to work with.
And about the red water, that's about right. From what I remember, he activated the seal built into his automail as he was standing on the red water, thereby it transfering all of its power to him to perform whatever it was he wanted to do (which was to effectively kick some ass). And I woudln't doubt was Lust said: With that much red water mixed with his normal talent with alchemy, he could effectively have become a God.
Episode 23 is a dosey, watch yourselves.
