OK, I fixed THAT problem (no help from you guys ), but now I have new problems.

No crosshair for one, and the game will sometimes run in slow motion. Not stuttering or anything, just in very smooth "Matrix" slow motion.

Yeah, Vent is awesome, much better audio quality. AND it takes hosting responsibilies off me.

It doesn't really matter what we use, we just need to decide one way or the other so everyone can get on the same page.

I guess I won't be playing with you guys, since I can't get unreal to run correctly.

Have you tried a reinstall of UT? You're also having just video problems, so it could be a problem with your drivers.

It sucks because I've never heard of problems like yours before. Usually, UT just gives up and crashes when something isn't right...

I re-installed.

It looks like I won't be able to make it to Sunday game night. I'm going to be in Wichita Friday and Saturday, and then be gone for more wedding stuff Sunday.

I'll definitely be to one as soon as I can.

I have a laptop that will run UT well, so I might pick up a copy soon so I can play with you guys too. I will suck, cause I never play PC games, but I'm in when I get a copy.

Werd, so that makes nine of us for Sunday. It'd be nice to find one more so we could have five-man teams for a few Assault/CTF games...

Goddammit I want to play. This is killing me. Damn training starts Sunday.

Don't hesitate to download a copy if you can't find one to buy. It was released almost a decade ago, in my book that makes it fair game for downloading.

I play a practice game with one or more of you? I wanna make sure everything will work. Especially whatever teamspeak program we're using.

And when are we starting sunday? I won't get home from work until 10:30. >_>

Nevermind, Unreal stopped working again.

NOW I remember why I stopped PC gaming all those years ago. Because of dumb shit like this. God bless consoles and their plug-and-play holy goodness.

After much 1337 HAXXORing I can finally say that I'm running UT99 PERFECTLY.

Yeah V, just hit up any of the staff this weekend, and we'll test it out with ya.

In fact, it'd be cool if we could have everyone do a few test rounds with us beforehand, with both UT and Vent. We did decide to go with Ventrilo, for anyone wondering. I'll update the first post with all the server information, and don't be afraid to hit up one of the staff if you can't figure out what to do.
