All of the previous Resident Evil titles have been released on Gamecube. Let's see that's RE 0, RE, RE 2, RE 3 Nemesis, and RE Code Veronica X. Some are harder to find than others. The only ones Gamecube doesn't have is the Outbreak series and Gun Survivor series. Also, there was Resident Evil Gaiden released for Gameboy Color. RE 2, 3, and Code Veronica X for Gamecube are just ports. I think something like resolution is better, but graphics haven't been enhanced at all. Code Veronica X doesn't look that bad though because it was originally on Dreamcast and then on PS2, 2 and 3 were originally on PS1. Some company was supposed to release a 2 pack for Gamecube that has RE 0 and RE 1 packed together for like $20-30. I haven't seen it though. Maybe it's not out yet. It was called the Evil 2-Pack or something. In Japan they released a RE collection that had all the titles packed together in this awesome premium packaging.

the Remake of RE:1 is one of the best games I've ever played. 2 is probably the one with the most story, and 3 is just kinda there. Code Veronica is a great game. The Combat knife is usefull! Slash at the knees then tear them to shreads when they fall. Try the knife in any other game and your just food.
I havn't played 4 yet. I ALMOST bougth a GC...but my senses prevailed and told me to wait till it's on PS2. This relies entirely on my not playing it before it comes out on PS2 or i won't be able to wait.
If it dosn't come out on PS2, I'll likely be forced to get a GC and use their godless notched controller. I'm sure the game would look better on GC anyway.
oh...BTW...RE:0 sucks ass. Dont' play it. it is pretty like RE:1 but ass like some kind of glute. tehy make you try and control two characters at once on two notched analog controllers, and you're on a train half the time, and tyrant tries to kill you and the lychee thing is WAY off Resident Evil type of spooky ness. It gets all supernatural and weird like Code Veronica and that Apocalypse movie. Telekenetic? Pyrokinetic? WTF is going on? where are the GD zombies? Leech monsters are neither easy or a joy to kill.. taht game was agony and should be ported to nothing. Ever. if you see it, you get your shit, and you run.
