TMNT Arcade Game on XBLA Confirmed
Once or twice when a few years back, but I already knew I had a better talent for being massively creative, so I dropped the thought almost immediately. Anyway, if and when I see you I'll probably yell something weird like "boing" or "shooka locka banooka."
I'd listen for the latter more closely though.

I got TMNT and played through the first level. First late emulation, this is pretty damn close to the arcade.
Gotta get 2 papers written and 2 tests studied for, so I prolly won't be playing anymore until tomorrow. This game has my foundest multiplayer memories though, so I can't wait to play it with everyone.

I'm sad. I wanna play it. I never played it before though due to lack of resources, but I do want to play it regardless. I heard several people say it's amazing, and several say it's meh. I'll have to decide for myself though, cause that's how I roll.
P.S. People need to stop harrassing me and my clover.

It depends on your perspective. The game is from 1989 so if you don't like classic games you won't like it. Its a part of history, those that don't care still won't.
Honestly, I thought the gameplay was better in the NES version that came out later. Hopefully that will come out on the virtual console.

Taking a brief break to post.
Yeah, the game is short but keep in mind that this was originally made to play in the arcade. To play costs you 1 - 3 quarters, and the same for every life after that. With the free play this version allows you, you kind of forget the original setting and how long it would have taken someone to play through it. I didn't play all the way through, cuz of the funds, until I got it for the NES version.
This game was a pretty appropriate length for the time. Remember, these games were meant to be played over and over again for higher scores and such. And even though it seems short now, as I always quote Tycho in these situoations, "you don't judge a meal by how long it takes you to eat it."
Besides the better gameplay the NES version had, the NES version also added levels to increase the length. I enjoy those levels as well.. I really hope the NES version comes on the VC. If Nintendo could join the 21st century and have some online multiplayer that would be neat too.
