Maybe an Oscar for best effects. The CG in this movie was some of the best I've ever seen.

There were a few mistakes tucked away in different scenes that I noticed... Only because I was taught to look for that shit in my own stuff at USC.

The directing and acting was pretty good in parts, but Im just not sure it could hold up with the other contenders.

Wow, I am reading the reviews on the movie at rottentomatoes.com and damn...They ALL hate the movie.

To be honest though, I can't consider the last review on the list (which was added while I was reading a review coincidentally), which says the movie is meant to only appeal to us from the "Joystick Generation"...gamers, and essentially stereotypes us as nothing more than mindless morons that want to see blood and gore flying everywhere. I really have a hard time believing this though since my brother clearly enjoyed the movie, and while he does play games (casual gamer fyi), he's not the type of guy to get drawn into a movie just because of blood and guts or even special effects for the matter.

Btw...I'm surrounded by people that've seen the movie and I *sigh* once again *sigh* haven't seen it...

I've had the chance to watch a DVD quality download from 2 friends already, but my better judgement prevented me from watching it at either occasion.

Yea I could watch a "dvd quality" version of it,but Im gonna wait till I can see it in theaters or on a REAL dvd.

I finally got a chance to watch this movie. It was fucking amazing. It is one of the best movies i've seen. It's also, IMO, the best movie based on a comic so far. ( i dont know about spiderman 3 as i've yet to see it. )
