What chapter are you on, Loose? I really can't see someone beating it in 10 hours their first time through, especially with leaving it there for 4 hours.

Ah, ok...makes more sense then...and you still have a ways to go.

I'm on my second playthrough and have bought the Chicago Typewriter and Infinite Rocket Launcher. I'll probably beat the game this time around in about ten hours. What's kicking my ass now is the mercenaries mini-game. I can't get over three stars no matter how hard I try. And you need five star ratings with every character to unlock the hand cannon (an uber .45 magnum that can be upgraded to 99 damage and infinite ammo).

I hate the guys with the double chainsaws in the Mercenaries game. They are like super invicible and they can jump up really high. They always slice me in half.

Yah, they're a problem. I wish I could at least get five stars on the village level if nothing else.

By the way, has anyone ever killed Salazar's right hand guy? You know, the Predator looking guy that you freeze.

Yup. The Killer 7 does the trick quite nicely, as does a single shot from the rocket launcher while he's frozen.

OK, I got four stars on every level now, so I have access to all the characters. Who the hell is "Hunk"?

I cant find a thermal scope for the sniper rifle. Thankfully I got a CT to deal with the Regens (grey guys that regrow limbs). Dude here is a worst case scenerio, im trying my best to not have any spoilers. OK your in the wrecking ball room where the wrecking ball is right over the lava (remember?) with 2 shotgun shells, 5 handgun bullets, and like 50 rounds of sniper rifle ammo...I cant even remember how I survived it but I somehow did. Then the hallway after that...sniper rifle ammo, a willy pete and near zero health...good god I must gotten VERY lucky.

Hehe...Hunk is the "4th Survivor" from RE2. He's the guy that extracted the G-Virus for Umbrella.

I gotta play the other REs now. That's how good RE4 is, I've never liked RE games up until this one, but now I'm ready to go back and play them all just to fill in back-story even though the games control horribly and the static camera angles make seeing your enemies impossible half the time.
Not to mention the butt-awful voice acting in most of them...
Lessee, I can get RE remade and the original graphics version of RE2 for gamecube. Is RE3 only for PS1? Are RE code veronica and RE 0 worth playing?

Just play RE1 and RE2 to get the story for RE4. I would strongly suggest also playing RE: Code Veronica as well, as I feel it was the best entry in the series, up until RE4.
