No I mean they are literally the same story line, only Samurai X is more violent and I think better. Rurouni is jsut... funnier I guess is the best way to say it.

are you talking about the ovas versus the tv show? because there is only rurouni kenshin, there aren't two series. samurai x was just an american title.

As far as Samurai X vs. Rurouni, I'm going off of what all of my friends have told me. I have never seen Rurouni. It's on my to do, which grows longer daily. *sighs* So much to do, so little time.

as a rabid kenshin fan i can tell you there is only kenshin the tv show, the ovas, the best of battles special, and the movie. Samurai x was just a name used in america. anyways what manga does everyone like?

There are a few more, but I can't think of them off of the top of my head, and I'm busy cramming my final paper together.

manga cost too much unlike some free downloadable anime
usually i just go into book stores and read them there
the only 2 titles i have ever bought were

manga isn't any more expensive then anime. just do mirc board downloads. there are scanlations of millions of titles. its where i get most of my manga.

Kenshin blows giant monkey nuts, except for like the first 8 episodes, which kickass. It's DBZ with fucking swords, except with more talking. I'm not kidding.

i lost interest in nadeisco really quickly. right after the gekiganger guy died, it lost all the funny. i watched a lot of the stuff after that but it wasn't the same.

oh yeah and don't listen to siege, he's a dub watcher.

some dubbing is good like in cowboy bebop and hellsing
but then again most of it sucks like tokyo craps initial d as well as kenshin tv
downloading manga just doesnt feel right
besides id rather buy anime toys and shirts instead of manga
