Original game that I bought way back when. I never actually beat Final Fantasy VIII. I got to the second disk and then stopped playing... It has really been amazing to go back to it.
I have to start back into school soon, though, so it looks like it will go back on pause for a while.
Although, Suikoken just up on Ps1... Hmmm. Sony really does not understand their (potential) audience.

Okay, I kicked some goddamn Microsoft ASS and they finally agreed to fix or replace my system.
I printed out a shipping label, and will be packing up and sending out my 360 today.
Like pulling teeth, I swear...

I found my old PSOne in a box in the basement.
I'm playing some Legend of Dragoon!
It's been SO LONG that I've forgotten everything! It's like I'm playing it again for the first time!
I've been tearing up my house forever trying to find my copy of that game
...I miss it and I've wanted to play it sooooooo bad.

Hey V, how much were they gonna charge you to fix or replace it out of warranty?

No way I was gonna' pay though.

Yeah, cause they'll most likely keep replacing your box with one made before the improvements that are supposed to stop or minimize red rings. That's what I get pissed about. Give us one that will work!!

Game Informer magazine listed their #1 disappointment of 2008 as this:
"Xbox 360: Still seeing red.
...Despite MS's promises to fix the problems, even the vaunted Xbox 360 Elites are still crapping out at an unacceptable rate. ..."

Yet, most of the games I play these days are Xbox 360 exclusive. This is something that if Microsoft had built 360's the RIGHT way, I think there wouldn't have been much of a competition as far as sales. At least between the PS3 and 360 anyway. I love the 360 games I play and unfortunately will have to keep replacing systems as they go bad. You won't see a Playstation 3 copy of Gears Of War 2 on a shelf anywhere, and I'm a Left 4 Dead whore! If they ever port that game over, it is going to be comical.
Agreed overall though. Even though I play mine every night and love it, it is a HUGE disappointment that they break down all the time. It's like buying a Ford.

Got my 360 back!
Actually, it looks like a brand new one.
Meant to play the RE5 demo, but Mass Effect sucked me in yet again.
God, Mass Effect is good.
Also:
Gears of War 2 sucks just as much after the latest update. Matchmaking is better, but it's just as laggy and glitchy. Fail.
I think I'll be trading it in.
