Xbox died. I guess I'm going to be starting over on either PS3 or PC.
I'm thinking PC.
I made an awesome gaming PC, but never use it. No longer!

the PC version is superior of course. Faster V.A.T.S action too, since you just click the body part you want to attack.

what view does everyone here play in, first or third person? I mostly play over the shoulder.

Always first person, same as the Elder Scrolls games.

First Person all the time. I just like it better, personally.

I like that you can actually play 3rd person in this game, albeit not perfectly.

Beat it a while ago; only one bug (a fairly minor freeze) in the completely unpatched 360 version.
The ending wasn't really bad, just abrupt. I didn't even realize I was about to finish the game until I got to it. You can't even go back afterward and do more stuff; there's a point of no return that I won't spoil.
I think I'll play Fallout 3 again at some point, just because it was so damn good.

That's why I'm taking my time doing all the side quests first, since apparently you can't go back without completely starting over. And I'm playing through with bad karma up the ass right now (Blew up megaton also), so those damn regulators appear immediately after I exit a subway.
This game is pretty much everything that S.T.A.L.K.E.R wanted to be, and what I wish it was.

Yeah, after a month or so of not playing it after my initial 52 hours I logged into it, I think I'm ready to get back into it for a bit. There were a few things that I never got the chance to take care of. The only mission I missed was "Those!", which I never could get started for whatever reason. It's a great game that has tons of replay value for a nonLIVE game, especially with the DLC coming in Q1 of next year.
