Similar to youg etting an elite 360, I'm kinda waiting untill they make a better backwords compatable PS3 and the non is unavailable. and then perhaps some terrible fate will befall my PS3

I don't think They'll release a new model for some time, since they just released that new 160 GB model. You're better off hunting for one of the two 80 GB SKUs.

I really hope they put back the backwards compatitability in the PS3.
Personally, I haven't found anything (as far as exclusive games) that really excites me on a PS3.
But I do wish the 360 had the realiabilty and aesthetics of the PS3.
At least, the new Black 360 does look cooler then the white/cream colored one.
(silver lining)
But (going back to the 360) the 360 is still an atrocious piece of hardware that unfortunately has all the games I like.
