It is part of their new approach. Did you see where Square's president said that all games had to have casual appeal. Basically, if it doesn't sell like Madden it is canned.
Why won't companies realize that if they do what they do extremely well, like Square used to do, that they will sell many copies?

And just another step towards the 'all in one media device cpu/phone/video game system/tv/dvd/sex machine.
Back to the OT, I heard that most people dont' know how the Happnening got released, its so below par for MNS. Plot is a nifty idea, but acting is poor, shooting is poor, and you laugh at the gory stuff and cringe at the funny stuff.
really didn't like Village or Lady in the Water either, so I'm not shocked.
Did love me 6th Sense, Signs, and Unbreakable, though.

Yeah, I got a craving for Unbreakable after watching The Happening. One of his better works.

Oh I dunno, I didn't mind the preachy ending, even if it doesn't mirror my beliefs. I thought it made sense for the character, and within the context of the work.
I really enjoy that movie for the power of Mel Gibson's 'there is no God' speech in the middle. It was the last Shymalanahanahan film that had emotional depth to it. I hope sometime he can recapture that magic.
