At first the game is pretty hard but you get the feel for it pretty quick and it's not so bad after that. I've completed the game and now I just play around with Time Attacks for fun. I can honestly say that this is my favorite racing game, and if you guys get the chance you should check it out.

Oh, and the link that was given to the videos is a really good forum, except for all the poor grammar. The address is http://www.initial-d.com/forums for those of you interested. It's got almost all the info you could ever need about the game.
Werd to the Arcade Stage greatness. I use to make regular trips to the machine in Topeka, but got tired of the commuting.

And if you're into ID forums, there's also http://www.idforums.net/. They don't know the game as well, but they've got hookups on everything else, especially Eurobeats.

I've already seen a few ID machines since my move here. You'd be surprised how many arcades we have in Las Vegas. Especially the huge Gameworks right on the Strip with a shit load of gaming of every kind and concerts held regularly. Tight shizzle.

God damn you. You Vegas people probably have Ver. 3, while us Kansans are still dicking around with Ver. 2.

Personally, I liked Version 2 better. Version 3 is all about blocking people to win (Which is very easy) and it feels MUCH slower than V2, plus wall hits seem to hurt much more. The new tracks are pretty fun though.

And Richie, you mentioned the Eurobeat music, I'm just wondering, are you a fan of the Genre? I don't know many people who even know what it is.

Is Ver. 3 that much different? I've only raced a few times, all of which were against ITR's on Iro, and every time they blocked like crazy. Fuckin' cheap as hell. I read that this is commonplace, so I just started TAing.

And yeah, I'm a huge fan of the genre. :D I used to stick to ID tracks, but I torrented a few albums and loved it. But like you said, even some ID fans don't know what it is. :(

Kick their short asses to the curb and run 'em over.
