Wait, wasn't the last Star Wars FPS Battlefront 2? I distinctly remember Republic Commando coming out before that did. I played a demo for Republic Commando actually and I thought it wasn't that bad, but that was long ago.

Both Battlefronts were third person, if you wanna' get technical.

They both had an option to switch to 1st/3rd person. In Battlefront 1 I always used 3rd person, but in BF2 I'll switch back and forth when the time calls for it.

Yeah, maybe Battlefront 2 was most recent. I use 1st person during ground human combat and 3rd person for vehicles.
Force Unleashed is exciting because we haven't seen anything in vein of Dark Forces/Jedi Knight/Jedi Academy in a while. I think that's what Force Unleashed continues the tradition of. Plus, it's got physics and bell and whistles of all the new FPSs.
