Supergirl has that 'it' factor....the blonde hair, the mini-skirt, 70% nude.

Isn't there more to Lois than being hot? I juts couldn't connect with Bosworth. She seemed a little too on the indicating side to me.

That said, please don't get the wrong impression, I LOVED THIS MOVIE! My favorite movie of 2006 by far! Like Weezerjedi, I was very close to tears. Superman is actually one of my least favorite comic book properties too. I did, however, love Superman 1 and 2. Those were two of my favorite movies growing up. Hearing the music in the credits almost made me cry.

Bryan Singer has grown even more since X2, and I can't wait to see what he comes up with next. I've seen this in his style since X1, but I think he may be the next Spielberg. Someone who has great knowledge and talent of film, but makes really big budget Hollywood films. But then again, what else would you expect from a USC grad?

If you think almost wanting to cry during Superman Returns makes me a pussy, then you should know, I cried at the end of the Wizard of Oz when Dorthy says something like "I'll never leave home again, because I love home and I love all of you." That was about 3 months ago. Also, more recently, I cried durring an episode of season 5 Buffy the Vampire Slayer. The episode is called "The Body" if I'm not mistaken. So yeah, I'm worse than a pussy.

As for Kate Bosworth, her portrayal of Lois Lane was missing something. She didn't have the attitude down. But for some reason, I kind of just forgot about little things like that, and nothing really bugged me. I was too engrossed in everything to really care.
