Update:
I tried to grow a 'stache for, like, most of a week. It was all patchy and stupid, so I shaved it off.
I'm great at growing stubble, just not full-on facial hair I guess.

LAME. You gotta be tough through the crappy period. Just let it grow for about a month and then you can shape and trim it.
