Dude there ya go. The answer weve all been waiting for. Little Slugger is some type of being that can atack anyone at anytime at anyplace who has been emotionally cornered. How the old man fits into all this waits to be seen and whether or not that detective is going to be, or already has been, the next victim remains to be seen.

A final word: If the entire series involves all the people who are in the opening then we only have 1 missing. The big "Billy Badass" detective (I think hes a punk) who does the interrogating.

Of course the old man might get attacked too but I dont se how he could possibly handle it...seeing as he looks like hes 80.

The little slugger holy warrior boy getting killed by the real little slugger was awesome. Shivers.

Dude I have to say...that was one of the funiest damn things ive ever seen XD. They scared Little Slugger by wanting him to hit them XD

Haha. At any rate, I've completely given up on this anime. I haven't watched the last several episodes and I'm so lost I'm Peter Piper in Journey to the Center of the Earth.

I peeked at it from time to time during my initial reading of Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, and I remember seeing the Little Slugger type dude running down stairs and the several guys chasing after him. Haha. That made me laugh watching those old guys running after him in yukatas (EDIT: yukata are unlined cotton kimono).

Yeah I got that book...believe it or not it was one of the summer reading choices for my school. I have to write a summar of every damned chapter and then write one I thought of that chapter...jesus christ why cant they just give us a quiz? Bastards!

I had the exact same thought. Doesn't seem to make sense though.

That had to be the weirdest episode yet. The happy and comedic romp of two men and a little girl trying to kill themselves.

I can't wait for the conclusion.

Theres actually a possibility they were ghosts...I mean it didnt seem like anyone was getting pissed off at them or was even suspicious of them when they were in an abandonned building like that...

And I can understand Little Slugger running away from those people just because he thought they were insane but its possible that he actually freaked out because he could see right through them...or on a deeper note only sensed them...

I cant wait for the conclusion either XD. It doesn't get much more ironic than that...I mean in the most dangerous situations and they escape unscathed. Not to mention the stupid tree branch! "Bring your own rope because vines break" Well they brought their own ropes so they probably wouldn't break, BUT did they thnk about the tree branch XD I swear that right there was actually like some comedy movie.

...I think we can all say we had our screw ups in the past...but godamn. That guy was the village idiot of cartoon animation. I dont blame everyone for getting mad at him. I would've fired him alot sooner lol!

As for the chase...how many of you would've just run Little Slugger over? I mean it wouldn't be that hard to just side swipe him. I also cant believe how many times that he fell asleep...WHILE DRIVING FOR GOD SAKES!

I thought it was kind of funny when Meromi kept comming onto the screen and explained all of the roles of the cartoon designers. It also made me feel like i was watching a child's cartoon sadly.

In our latest installment, which I did watch, I noticed one of the worker's names was "Nobunaga Oda". I found this joke funny, but I don't know about the rest of you guys; I believe he Producer and in charge of keeping the peace and making every run smoothly under his watchful eye (a very agitating position). Hence the somewhat bad pun:

Nobunaga Oda was the name of the first person to attempt to unify Japan in the mid-1500's and was one of the major causes of the sengoku jidai's end (Warring States period -- ie. InuYasha). His dream was to unify Japan under the rule of a single sword ("tenka fubu"), and to this day he is considered one of the most powerful men Japan has ever known.

End of pun. I chuckled for a good minute or so.

Extra Information:
Nobunaga Oda was assassinated by two of his fellow generals just before his dream was realized in 1582. Nobunaga was also one of the first foreigners to ever appear in Western history due to his importation of firearms and embracement of Christianity; he seriously opposed Buddism.

..if I had been drinking a soda....MY FUCKING TV WOULD BE COVERED IN IT WHAT THE FUCK MAN!? WTF!? Shes sitting there talking quietly to LITTLE SLUGGER....AND APPRENTLY HE UNDERSTANDS HER...WTF!? I know I may be overracting but this throws all of my old theories out the window. "Ah zat will do. Out ze ****ing window with zat."

Ok...hes a material being...apparently when he chooses to be...he can stick around wherever and whenever he wants. And he can also change his appearance to become...older and more physically built. I dunno who or WHAT this woman is but obviously she can summon "Little" Slugger at will. Apparently he can laugh too.

O crap for a second there I thought she was gonna get up and kick his ass. Evil eyes

Wow GO LADY!! Him and Meromi are one in the same? wtf? O well...that lady kicked total ass.

Ok now im freaked out because how did that lady get inside a painting?
