This sign is most likely right outside Sony's head developing office, where all PSP lovers and Sony praisers gather to drink the wonderful "punch" that Sony set out.

I've had more problems with Nintendo hardware than with Sony and Microsoft hardware combined, so bite me.

Excuse me if the DS games out right pretty much universally suck, there is no reason to be bitter about it.

And I do believe the subject line of this thread WAS "All bitching aside...".

Sorry, when discussing Sony, I must bitch.

Thank you Mr. Burton!

Finally someone saying something about the PSP other than "s0ny is teh suck! nintendo r0xors!"

Don't get me wrong, I don't think that Nintendo sucks. I don't think anyone sucks. In my mind Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft all provide valuable and varied gaming experiences. I do look forward to a handful of DS titles in development and the Gamecube brought me Resident Evil 4.

So you got a PSP for free? What's up with that? Can I borrow some of your ninjas for, like, half an hour?

You'll have to talk to Break about that. I only know that the ninjas appeared in front of me with a PSP. I wasn't about to start asking questions, lest I get a shuriken lodged in my temple.

I'm not getting one and don't plan on it till the price comes down if I do at all. So far the games look pretty decent, but they're all pretty much based on existing games, if not ports. I don't need to buy propriatary movies I already own on DVD, and I'm eventually going to get an MP3 player if it kills me, so that's my plan.

I don't think I've actually heard actual real numbers from players yet, how long can the battery last?

Not enough money or exciting games coming so I'm not getting one now, and that's why I don't have a DS yet either. Although I hate to say it, but the PSP seems to have a lot more support and interesting sounding games than the DS, although I haven't been paying major attention to either systems's line-up.

First of all in response to the Ninja's  That is all I will say.

You guys gotta realize that we, or at least I, NEVER hated the PSP. The news that came out was negative, so we reported it. Had there been positive news, we would have reported it. We simply extrapolate it and make it humorous. I gave the PSP a really hard time sometimes, but only to get a rise out of people. Battery life still sucks, not admitting a broken button is a fault still sucks, game price still sucks, and the movies on UMD format still sucks. That doesn't mean it sucks, just that those paticular aspects suck.

I've said that exact same thing on the show many times.

But, if something sucks, I will give it shit.

Yeah I was about to ask if hte Square button issue had been fixed on the PSP you all got...so why havnt they ever fixed something that seems so simple? Believe it or not that could be a big issue when playing a shooting game where you shoot with the Square button or a platforming game where you do an attack with the Square button (Jak). What are the odds of it getting stuck (getting stuck is all I heard about it).

Yeah, I know, it was complete flamebait. Sorry, couldn't help myself.

But you'll hear my honest thoughts on the PSP tommrow, and you'll probably read more kind words than not.

Its gonna be a dark day for Nintendo if Sony overtakes them in the handheld market 0.0 I mean doesn't most of their money come from handhelds? ( I remember reading that somewhere)

Nintendo's breadbasket right now really is handhelds. This transition with next gen systems will be interesting.
