Hopefully it's true! But then again, these kinds of rumors are usually started by hopeful fanboys. But I'm enough of a fanboy myself to hope this rumor is true. 8)

I've now got to see and play this game and all I can say is WOW. This game is really amazing. This is Resident Evil the say it should be. I'm much more in fear for my life in this one because of many good reasons unlike past games. In the past games the camera and lack of ammo, saves, and so on just pissed me off for the most part.

First the camera works great. It's never gotten in the way of anyting. The graphics are simplay amazing, and I want to almost say they're some of the best I've seen on any system including the XBox. The little Cube has some nice power in that little box. And the frame rate is never a problem. After all my playing and watching my friend play for a long time, I don't think I ever saw the action slow down or even stutter once.

the sound work is equally well done. Enemies are very cool, and later in the game some are just eery. And this is the only reason I wish I knew Spanish.

The gameplay is really the star though. It's faster, lots more shooting, and blasting off heads never gets old, except for when... Even if you never played or hated the RE games in the past, just go and get this game. I must own this baby now and will soon.

And as for the exclusivitiy thing, I really really hope they do change things to be back to a GC exclusive deal. The Cube is a great system and could really use this quality system exclusive. It's not from Nintendo, so it's saying a lot for 3rd party support, and it's just one of the coolest games in a while.

Wll, weird thing is the box says right up in the corner "Only for Nintendo Gamecube."

That only means "Exclusive at this exact moment", though, so there might still be a PS2 port. Lots of games that had "only on Xbox/gamecube/etc" on the box when they were first released got ports on other systems.

The game is getting intense. I love playing it. Worth the wait and all the delays. Can't wait to see the ending and find out what's going to happen.

Yeah, although the excitement will be lessened slightly for me since a jerk friend of mine told me some spoilers even though he knew how far I had gotten in the game.

Jerk.

I'm wondering if Resident Evil 4 is this good, how good Killer 7 will be. They are both headed by Shinji Mikami and both are violent, mature titles. Capcom has been pretty hush hush about the gameplay of Killer 7, but from what I've seen, the visuals look amazing. It has this awesome noir feel to it that I don't think I've seen used to this extent in a game before. Well, hopefully it won't end up like Mikami's other Gamecube title, P.N.03.

My prediction is that it will be somewhere between the two. Not a masterpiece, but not boring as all get out either. Hopefully I'll be wrong and it does turn out to be a masterpiece, but I'm not holding my breath.

As good as RE 4 is, I'm hoping Killer 7 is at least near that good. What little I've heard or seen about the game looks quite good, and the visual style is interesting too. I'll reserve judgement until I see more though.

Alright. Finally beat it. Whew, these last few days I've been playing have been intense. Lot's of cool things to do now. I think I'm gonna play through it a second time. This first time through was absurd. It took me 23 1/2 hours and I think I died over 90 times. I killed almost 1000 bad guys (around 950 to be more exact). I know Jack's stats were much better. But I didn't care about dying or doing really good. Maybe I should try again with no dying allowed.

I'm still debating on whether I should buy that chainsaw controller. Even if it is basically milking money out of the title, I still think I want it.

I have to wonder how well you can actually control the game with it though. It WOULD be fun to use it with other games though. How intimidating would it be using the chainsaw controller for multiplayer Super Smash Bros Melee?

Yeah, I got the game a couple of days ago and am well over 1/2 through. I left it sitting for four hours and the game time went with it. So bascially Im looking at around finishing it in probably a little over ten hours. It is great, just great.

P.S. I have had enough of the chainsaws. I dont need one in my hand too.

Ok, I finished it too, and I'm happy to say I did better than weez. 48 deaths, 984 kills. Its funny how easy the game is on the second playthrough. I was terrified of low-level villagers the first time through, now they're teh suck. :P

I wants me that chicago typewriter now, I have to save up 1,000,000 for it though. After that I'm getting the infinite rocket launcher. Soooo sweeeeet.
