Yeah, if I was the Nov 9th dude, I'd shoot anyone who suggested releasing the game early.

This is something I saw on another forum:
Rearrange the letters in:
HALT - MODULE CORE HEMORRHAGE
SYSTEM PERIL DISTRIBUTED REFLEX.
STRONG INTRUSIVE INCLINATION.
COUNTDOWN TO WIDE AWAKE AND PHYSICAL :
And you get:
INDEX THIS IRONCLAD PREDICTION :
HALO TWO SINGLE PLAYER DEMO CD-ROM DISK INCURSION AT AUGUST TWENTY FOUR.
EARTH WILL NEVER BE THE SAME.

I was actually just about to post that, I got it off bemanistyle from DMAshura, and he found it on the HBO boards. But yeah. It seems like it could be right, totally coherent and makes total sense.

I haven't been as stricken with the ilovebees bug as Jack B but I look at it every now and then to try and find something new. I have 2 questions for Jack.
1. I read on
another board that if you send your name and mailing address to
ladybee777@hotmail.net you're supposed to get
something in the mail. Heard anything along those lines?
2. I stumbled on something I hadn't heard of or seen at
http://www.ilovebees.com/links.html. Along with the crazy Arsenal-Gear-Rectum-creepy text (I need scissors, 61!) all over the place, a list of URLs showed up. I reloaded the page and a different set of URLs popped up. I only looked at a few of the pages from either set. The few addresses of the first set seemed to be full of pages about metaphysics. The first few of the second set were about multiracial cooperation/anti-racism of some sort or another. I haven't had time to visit all the sites or analyze the connections between them. Have you seen these, or know the signifigance of the links?
Also,
http://www.ilovebees.com gives me the chills and I can't tell whether or not they're excited Halo 2 chills or just creeped-out chills.

Some sites to help with the bees...
http://www.argn.com
http://elgamer.blogspot.com
http://bees.netninja.com
This is getting interesting. I've never gotten into an alternate reality game before, it took bungie to get me hooked.

Yeah, Verence, that site will pretty much help you figure everything out so far, even if you can't yourself....I've been looking at it now for a few hours...
Don't forget that one of the countdowns ends tomorrow morning around 6 AM....wonder what'll happen then??

What countdown would this be? The first one ended two days ago and it now says Phase 1 complete on
http://www.ilovebees.com
The next countdown is in 13 days.

I hate bees. There are two countdowns, if the second one was to the demo.. what was the first one? Dammit more work to do. If anyone figures this out tell me

Although what I heard doesn't seem to have much to do with Halo 2, where can I get that long sound file with all those wierd clips? I'll listen to them. I'm rather curious. Thanks.
It was a cool idea, too bad it didn't work out as well as we'd hoped.

I agree with ya Wrath. A bit dissapointing on the news front, but entertaining as a distraction away from waiting for the game. And, as I think was intended, from games like Half-Life 2 and Doom 3.
