Fucking money-grubbing, no good, kill-joy SHITHEADS. EA, M$, and Eido$, buncha fuckwads. EIDOS DELAYED SHELLSHOCK FOR NO GOOD GODDAMN REASON, THE FUCKING GAME IS DONE BUT THEY DON'T THINK IT WILL MAKE AS MUCH IN THE SUMMER AS IT WOULD IN SEPTEMBER. Fucking idiots! You won't compete with Halflife, doom and halo! If the game's done just release it!

I have spoken.
I was never really looking foreword to the game, and don't know too much about it, but it still sucks.
The reason is what really pisses me off about many gaming companies. You guys had touched on this on last weeks show, but really... When will companies get a clue and release games during dead times. Of course people don't buy games during this time because none come out, or the few that might are probably shat.
Saving games releases until the last 3 months of the year is my worst pet peeve in gaming I think right now. Then companies wonder why a great game they actually spent time on doesn't sell well; BG&E and Prince of Persia, both of which I do have. I can't help but think more people would have gotten these games if they were released outside of the holiday flood of games. I'm just glad this didn't discourage Ubisoft from continuing the POP games, and 2 looks like it will kick all kinds of ass.
I've said it before, but I will say it again. If only companies would release their games earlier in the year. They could make more because people could afford them. Then during the holidays, the game could be lowerd in price, thus selling even more at a more attractive price point. I swear I should apply for a marketing job for some gaming company sometimes.
OK, sorry, I'm done now. End of rant.

Dude I totally agree. It's absolutely asinine thinking that summer is slow. Summer is the hot time for movies, music, and other entertainment. Of course Christmas is big, but EVERYTHING is released at Christmas, why not release it in the summer? Less competition, therefore more publicity, and all the kids are out of school with money and time to burn! What's not to like?!?! But in the case of Shellshock specifically it's a stupid move, it's totally gonna get overshadowed by all the heavyweights coming out this late summer/fall: Doom 3, GTA5, HL2, Halo 2, ect. With all these games coming out Shellshock is gonna just fall through the cracks and never reach its potential, ending up being an under-rated game. It could have been the summer blockbuster, now it's doomed to obscurity. I can see the writing on the fucking wall.
