Cheating

Socom has gotten very sucky lately. Gamers wait, Lamers have figured out the good ol' gameshark will work great if you want to win. SOme codes make you look like you are lagging and you cant be hit, and one is where your gun fires like 1,000 shots a sec. Totaly unfair and everyone is doing it.

One advantage of Xbox live. Cheating is generally harder to do.

Lamers suck, and we all need to rise up against them. Make sure you all report them, if you're on Xbox live. And, maybe, figure out a way to report them on the Ps2 too.

Hey Spokes, is that trade offered with the new ladder only charactors? Or with the old ones that still ahve the dupes from 3 years ago floating around screwing up the ecconomy.

i just wish i could play games online at all. Resnet makes you pay through the nose to do that.

It is easy to cheat in xbox. I play capcom vs. snk 2. Lots of people pull out and we both lose. If no one knows what i mean by pull out they actually pull the network cable so they disconnect and we both lose.
It's no fun playing games that lots of people cheat.

What the companies need to do is to put some people on the job of finding a way to make it so people can't cheat like they do. LucasArts and Seirra did a good job with making it extremely hard for someone to cheat in their Jedi Outcast and TRIBES 2. Now the only thing that needs to be done is for the consoles, and even if they can't do it, it's always nice to dream, right?

Yeah, I have the same problem. I guess what should have said is that it is possible for developers to take cheating out. Let's see if Capcom gets off their ass and fixes the cheating in that game. Make sure you report all those that pull out, as Xbox live actually disiplined a few of the culprits that were repeatedly reported.
