Hmmm... nope not really. On the servers we were playing last night it seemed to be of pretty equal balance. I played on the American's and the Viet Cong. For the Americans I would say that my favorite weapon loadout is actually the Mossberg shotgun in the assault class... or the CAR-15 with grenade launcher depending on the map.

For the VC probably the RPD although that son-of-a-bitch takes about 7 minutes to reload. I was finding quite a bit of success with the Chinese SKS in the engineer class.

Sorry to those who tried to connect up to my TeamSpeak last night, I'll try to get those issues resolved ASAP, then perhaps we can get some good stuff going.

One final note of the day... When you and a partner who is on teamspeak are both manning the Huey Gunship.. well.. you get the idea. PWN3D!!!

So I heard a rumor while playing online that the 1.1 patch for BFV will be released this weekend. I haven't seen anything official yet, but I'll keep checking. The guy said it'll fix the M60 balance issue and maybe help with lag a bit.

That is the rumor that is going around on the EA Games Official Forums. I doubt, though, that it has any merit since we really have not heard anything from EA about... well... anything since the game went live. I have been proven quite wrong before, but I wouldn't keep your fingers crossed.

Hey if you can't beat 'em... join 'em! Haha, actually if you practice up with the RPD you can find that you're just as effective. Also I found a pretty cool server that is run by some gamers in Kansas City. It always seems to have the right amount of people in it and people who actually play and aren't stat whores or plane campers. It's pretty sweet!

I figured that out today playing VC in Hue. Damn slick gun, except for the reload time. You'd think they could make it easier to reload...

Oh ya, for the first time today, I got caltropped to death! Sure enough, prone on a hilltop in Ia Drang, some VC came along and started dumping the little fuckers on me. I died, then the bastard took my M21 and got three of my own guys before he died. I'd say I got...

Yeah I love being on the run while taking 4 minutes to reload the thing. My pistol has saved my ass a number of times. But really though, even with the game as is... could this get more fun?

Yes, it could: integrated voice. It'd be really helpful when trying to coordinate any kind of attack or defense. I can think of plenty of examples when voice would have decided whether my team won or not. Just think how cool being able to call in accurate napalm strikes would be...

That's the only improvement I can suggest. I've got a list of complaints, i.e. worthless helicopter pilots, vehicle campers, est., but none of those are the games fault.

M60/L.A.W. combo=bad, voice chat would be VERY NICE, but shit, it's like saying Mona Lisa is a bit chubby, to be critical of absolute perfection! God I love this game!

The only problem I have with the voice chat is what our good friends at Penny Arcade have to say. IF you managed to find a really awesome server however where everyone was actually working as a team.. yeah that would be awesome.

Ya to be honest, it's integrated into CS, and people don't even use it that much. Not that I've seen, anyway. But if us BmX.commers were to play all together, getting RW or TS to work is often a pain in the ass.

Wasn't the Mona Lisa based on Leonardo Da Vinci, as sort of a female version of himself?

That's just a theory. Tradition says it was a rich merchant's wife.
