EA's apparent takeover

Is anyone else scared of EA? They just bought the rights to get Burnout 3 and Timesplitters 3. Their roster keeps piling up as they acquire popular license after popular license.

It doesn't matter how much you hate EA. I think they are taking over.

I agree with ya, mothergoat. Nobody really sees it either...you know what's going to happen soon? EA makes their own console (maybe). Then everyone is screwed. Nintendo, MS, Sony...everyone. Where can you only play EA games? On EA's system...what game do people play year in and year out simply because of name recognition and marketing? That's right, Madden. It would be the end of the world as we know it for videogames. Although, on the other hand, you would hope that people would be able to tell that a console made by EA would probably suck.

heh, if EA made a console....they would be set....actually its a good idea...bet they do it soon......wow tahst alot of cash tehy would make....

yeah, and all they'd sell is their sports games.

while the rest of the actual discerning public sees that year by year, pound for pound, ESPN's sports games are just better.

and thast why i play PC games........heh...even if all teh rights togames got sold off and they only made sports games....people would mod old games into enw ones.....or even make NEW PC games.....gg, pc wins again!
