One of my favorite anime shows got licensed by Viz!!! It's called "Saishuuheiki Kanojo", which translates to "My Girlfriend, The Ultimate Weapon". It's one of the most emotional shows I've ever seen. It's just pure heart-wrenching sadness concentrated into anime form. There's no real action to speak of, not much comedy, just pure emotion. If you've ever cried from a TV show, movie, or video game, watch this show and be sure you've got a box of kleenex nearby. The first volume comes out in April.
is that the one with the guy and his girlfriend and they wanna break up in the first episode, then some stuff attacks the city and he finds out shes got like a minigun for an arm and stuff, i know it as saikano if thats what your talking about?
well i think she can change it back into a real arm, so by law of nature you should be able to,anyway fuck that idea i wanna mech with 2 miniguns mounted on it , that would kick ass

well, if i could have like that guy on Final Fantasy unlimited has (unno his anme, not that far into the serias yet) like teh demon gun, then i would lose an arm for that.

man the demon gun is badass. i'd lock my arm in a magic case for that. i mean you don't even lose your arm you just seal it. sounds sweet to me.

The show was stupid...but the demon gun was cool! The names for the different types of soils were kind of crappy, but I bet a lot was lost in translation.
But back on topic--I think I've seen an episode of this. All I remember is fighter planes bombing a city and something in the sky destroying them all...Then a guy and his friends find out the girl with the machine gun arm was the object in the sky but she had no heartbeat or something like that...
Maybe I'm thinking of something else.

dude FF:U is cool so FU (pun is somewhat intended) i personally put it on ym top 10 list. of course i am huge final fantasy fan anyway so i geuss that influences me a great deal. but really, though stupid at times it is worth teh watch i think.
