ok, but one last question is there any difference in vid cards that are made by different companies, except what they come with.

Example: Sapphire and Gigibyte?

Some of slight construction differences as well, though they are all based off the same chipset.

The same would apply for say, motherboards. All the chips you buy for the board are the same, but each chip doesn't belong to a specific board. When choosing, make sure you read the customer reviews for possible conflicts with your other hardware (We've said that a lot).

Ohhh, and I would scale back to the Radeon 9800 and overclock instead of the 9800 pro.

I never said to wait, I just said that if you were wanting a 9800 XT, the price will be dropping in a few months.

that is funny that you called me "the dead guy". :)

Yeah I will read some more reviews some time today, And once I get the parts I will be posting "a how to" on Overclocking so be prepare to answer some questions. I will also report in on how the PC does as in benchmark from 3DMARK and how well the cooling system is, even though I doubt there will be any problem considering the case has 7 fans not including the CPU fan.

I mainly got that case cause I like the design and how it had a Fan controller with it, The 7 fans is a extra in my mind. Plus I got vibration dampener for all the fans, so that will reduce the noise some.

Well I've got some very good news. Good for me anyway, bad for any of you I happen to catch on Battlefield. I JUST BOUGHT A NEW MONITER AND VIDEO CARD!!! W()()7!! My moniter is a old KDS piece of crap, so I'm upgrading to a Viewsonic 17in PerfectFlat CRT. As for the video card, I'm moving from a 128 meg GeForce 4 Ti 4200 to a 256 meg GeForce FX 5900. I'm quite thrilled. I ordered off of Newegg, and I think my stuff will be here by Thursday.

http://www.shopping.com may have a deal

i lucked out myself. went to a Market Pro show, and got a brand new comp, 80 GB hard drive, 2000+ Athlon, along with a 15 inch flat panel, for about $700. 80GB is a lot of room for games and adult videos, haha!

Lol Jayt. I've got just a good ol' W.D. 80 gigger. More than enough space for me. Sure as hell wouldn't mind one of those new 74 gig 10,000 rpm Raptors, but they're a good $250 and I'm kinda cleaned out right now.

yeah you could get that or a 15,000 RPM 74GB HDD only for like $360! lol.
or something like that.

And also about the fan issue, all the fans are variable and can be manuelly controlled so if it is cool, I can turn it down so it does not make so much noise.

dude, how do you turn the fans down?? this thing is too loud. at first it was quiet but after 3 months, it's snoring louder than Roseanne Barr.
