well soul edge came out on the ps1 and i was use to the controls on that, so it just makes since to play it on ps2 ,but danm the panda from tekken would have been a much better choice than heihachi, that or dante from dmc
Dante from DMC would have been awesome. I just don't see why they would choose a character from a fighting game to be the "special" character in yet another fighting game.

dante would have been perfect cause he already had a variety of swords, and if your guna put someone as lame as heihachi in at least make him be able to turn into devil(cause of soul caliber), that or even the systems "special" characters out like have obi-won on gc version , and for xbox use master chief , then cloud for ps2

Lol... Sonic the Hedgehog. Well they couldn't do an FF character for PS2 I'm guessing because GC now has Square's games. But I had said a few days ago that I wish they had done MasterChief for XBox. That would have been cool.
Everything I learned came from reading banned books.

For me that goes back to discussion on characters fitting in. I think Spawn fits in better than Master Chief would have. Dante from DMC would have fit in perfectly. And I don't know why they didn't use an FF character...square is releasing GC games, but the Spawn game came out on all systems...

Spawn was included because the SC team already has an unholy alliance with Todd McFarlane; McFarlane designed the home version character Necrid and McFarlane Toys produced the SC2 statuettes.
