yes yes but marz was more of a third for the series, you see
virtual on:operation moongate was made in 1995 for the arcade and sega saturn
then after its wide success, in 1998 virtual on : orotario tangram which came to arcades in japan as well as the much missed dreamcast for both countries
then in 2001 came virtual on : force, 2 years later we get the translated version in its suckified glory virtual on : marz
it only sold poorly cause they really changed virtual on itself, i mean its like playing the original armored core only a little faster with a partner,
hope this has enlightned, well umm someone

mostly cause it didnt superceed VO:OT , the way VO:OT did with VO:MG
here are my reasons
*the music isnt as upbeat
*the single player missions seem thrown together just fill up a lacking arcade mode
*you have to play the solo missions to get the good mechs
*the backgrounds consist of two colors repeating each other with really
unsmooth polygons
*the mech graphics dont even compare to the second, plus their polygons are just as bad
*they should have made the mech twin stick control like in the arcade
( i know they try to make the ps2 controller simulate this but i'd still like the "real" mech feel, though these controls are better than the dreamcasts
*u cant make a variety of different shots by pressing a differnt combo of buttons with the same type of weapon, like in VO:OT
*I spent $45 on the game hoping for something kick ass, and got let down
* I've played the game about 7 times trying to give it another chance, but just cant find anything worth bringing me back
thank you for reading me bitch about the worst game in the virtual on series, sega just might have killed my favorite game but if anyone wants to try this game for a very low price send me a message
