Game sighting in a movie? Saw something on the screen other than a game? Weird, let us know.

The Family Guy

Post by Atticus »

It took me this long to find Family guy in DVD and I am going to get it soon. This show is the shit, and I need the DVD. If you have never seen it, go watch it and you'll know what I mean. 2 words: Cartoon Network.

My favorite episode is the one where Peter is made to go to sensitivity training after making a sexist joke at work. Love the lines in it.

"This is my life-partner, Lois." "Wife."

Although there are a lot of episodes I like. Why they cancelled that show I will never know. Alas. At least South Park is still around.

it ultimately got cancelled because FOX kept hot potatoing it to diff't time slots. I only saw half of the first season. Me and my pals at Rutgers watched it religiously after the infamous Kool Aid man incident. Then it just disappeared.

FOX(and to a lesser degree ABC) do not know what to do with a good tv show. I'll point to The Job, Sports Night, Family Guy and House of Buggin' as examples of the lack of smarts these executives have.

What would be really great is if they started producing it again.

well get ready to celebrate! since sales of the DVDs have been so strong, as ratings of the repeats, FOX wants to bring it back!

My buddy Mark has had one the DVD sets for a long-ass time. I see em on the shelf everytime I got to Suncoast. But, I got season 3 of The Simpsons instead.

Agreed. I like the Simpsons a lot but I like Family Guy better. And South Park.

My favorite Family Guy is when they get put in the Witness Protection Program and they get moved to the south. The old man trying to get Chris to "have one of his popsicles" is priceless.

the best joke i've seen(besides the Kool Aid man one) is the one in the episode where Peter is trying to one-up his handicapped neighbor.

He buys a police dispatcher, and you hear something along the lines of "3 dead, 1 wounded" and Brian walks in and says "Is it me, or is rap music getting lazier?"
