I'm thinking about starting up FFXI. I've been arguing a lot lately with myself, but it may be time to put EQ to rest. What do you think? Give me the good, the bad, and the really ugly.
Everything I learned came from reading banned books.

So, being fresh off of EQ myself, I'll give you a pointer: Do NOT expect FFXI to be EQ in a different world, I went into it wish similar expectations, and was hit with culture shock. The controls are different, the spells are different yadda yadda yadda. But once you acclimate yourself to this new frightening world, it proves to be better and more fun to me than eq. And I'm only level 10
And to anyone, Silvair or whoever is reading this and wishes to join the FFXI community, I have enough world passes to populate the Asura server with the entire continent of Australia. Yes...Australia.
So if you want to join the running-amokness of Me, MetusOdium, BreakMan, ShadowMan and the whole crew, drop me an IM, E-Mail or anything you darn well please and we'll get you a world pass.
(A bit of explanation, when you start a character, you are assigned a random server [to keep populations in check] but if you have a world pass from someone on a specific world, your character is created on that world....w00t!)
