interesting concept, i like the idea of the anime. not so much the story, but the concept is nice. I'd like to see how they pull this off. a good zoids came would be cool, but i wonder about the controlling.

i think its out in japan already???? but even though its a gc controller i think it would be pulled off quite nicely
joy stick/d pad to control movement, c stick for aiming with guns or turrets, L/R to switch weapons, a brake, b accelerate, x weapon, z secondary weapon, that would be good enough for me but then jumping and strafing would be ideal but where would they go?
something better would be an arcade version with cockpits like from the show ya aracade make everything better

Sorry, I really don't know much about these games. What I do know is, that not only is Zoids Versus available, but Zoids Versus II and a GBA game are also available. I'll look more deep for some information and report back with anything I find.

That's one of the WORST dubbed anime I've ever seen!!! It's right up there with Saber Marionette J and Knights of the Zodiac in terms of its terribleness. I'm sure the original Japanese version isn't near as crappy, but I can't watch Zoids for more than 5 minutes without feeling like I've shit my pants with runny diahrrhea. And that is not a pleasant feeling, folks, let me tell you.
panda, I respect you, but Zoids is crap, man. I'd rather watch SD Gundam than that pile of Voltron-meets-Pokemon doo-doo.

Zoids is another case of stateside fucktards screwing up a decent anime. I've downloaded a few episodes of this over Kazaa, and I found them highly enjoyable. Granted, it wasn't enough to keep my interest like other animes have, but it was still good.

And, Ru, I really didn't need to hear about you shitting your pants with runny diahrrhea. I already saw that on Jackass, I don't need more.

here are the reasons i like zoids
*big robots
*big robots fighting other big robots
*character design
*weapon coolness factor(that charged particle cannon is ultimate kinda like the ultimate cannon from ff)
lol nothing is worse than knights of the zodiac, and sd gundam is the worst dubbed/cg'ed "anime" ive ever seen so ya ima go play gunbound now

i'm going to have to go with panda here, i never got into the story but if i flip past zoids i like to watch the mechs. i want to try this game, but i doubt it will see its way to my bookcase. i think it would be cool if you got to customize your zoid in this. maybe you can, that would be cool. i like armored core, so as long as this plays well i think i might find some enjoyment. just cause an anime is bad doesn't mean the games will, i sure as hell hated monster ranchers the anime but i'm hella looking forward to mr 4.

yay awe man i need a gamecube, any word on the arcade? i heard that they showed a cockpit like station at tokyo game show and that you use cards to customize your zoids, kind like initial d + virtual on.
