Anyone else had the life sucked out of them by this gem of a game? I know richie mentioned it on the show. Just getting a general feel of the awesome it produces.

From what i've been reading, the game is buggy as shit on all 3 versions, to the point where you can't complete the game. I'm going to hold off until A patch is released.

I don't know. I've been Bethesda s forums for all 3 consoles, and there's just a ton of complaints. And this is Bethesda we're talking here, I loved Oblivion but there were some serious glitches in that game. I ran into one where one of my saves stopped working and I had to start over, which Is why whenever I play oblivion I have 2 save files for one profile, that way I'll only have to re-do a certain part to get to where I was. I wouldn't doubt the users on their forums. Maybe Richie is a lucky bastard.

EDIT: I couldn't have seen this at a better time. I was browsing Kotaku and found this.

When I played through it was pretty much clear sailing. There were a couple of glitches like the game froze up twice and weird things where npcs would just take off running for no reason and you have to chase them down about a mile. Other than that it was pure win. This was 360 version just for reference.

I'm 27 hours in and I haven't been this addicted to a game in a very long time. Haven't seen any glitches other than a few freezes from the 360, most likely due to it being on for almost 8 hours straight :)

I know that Verence is playing it hardcore too, see his ass online playing as late as me sometimes, and I'm on the west coast!

Fantastic game.

I didn't encounter a single bug on my way to the end except for one that could simply be fixed by saving, closing the game, and then starting it up again.

PC Version btw.

I can't wait until someone makes a mod to let you mod your weapons. Add custom silencers and scopes, or grips and stuff.

Hey man, sorry I haven't been online :D , but I'm about 25 hours in now.

Beat the game, then went back to an earlier save and just started dicking around in the Wasteland, doing whatever quests I could find. It's crazy addicitve, that kind of freedom.

I'm scoping out Vault 92 ATM, where you at?

I was at around 70 hours when i beat the main quest. All the misc quests that were listed in the guide and 14 of the bobble heads. I went the holy roller route sneak/small guns sniper and got the righteous ending. Gonna start a new game of it when I get to 80 on wow. Gonna evil and unarmed/energy weapons next time me thinks. Really a damn good game imho.

Since a patch came out recently along with trophies, I went out and got the game. I can't put it down. Yeah, I know I'm late. :)

I haven't once encountered a glitch that affected gameplay. One time a corpse spun itself into non-existence, another time I found Lucy West dead in the middle of Megaton for no reason, but it was after I took her quest, so it didn't really matter.
Atticus wrote:Verence is playing it hardcore
Very true.

Small guns is really the easiest way to play. A sniper round or a shotgun blast to the head means "Goodnight Martha". That was my first play through as a "Good" character.

I'm playing through with an unarmed character now (Neutral), and BOY is it a pain. My endurance is maxed, my unarmed skill is at 70, and it's still a pain.

Next will be an evil character with either big guns or energy weapons. I'm thinking big guns.

The main story is kinda' lame if you ask me, but it's still a great game.

I killed three dog so he doesn't interrupt my good old 50's music with his howling. Now I have his clothes AND the ability to listen to the radio in peace.

As far as glitches go, I couldn't take the G.O.A.T test... I would sit down when instructed, and..... Nothing would happen. That really pissed me off. I thought they actually fixed the major shit. So the only way I can get that simple trophy is on my next play through.

And also, I am hearing that the ending is a major disappointment.
