Play. This. Game.
Beat it recently. Highly underrated. The reason it didn't get a shit ton of favorable reviews from industry critics was because the out of the box product was buggy as shit. However this is the first time I've ever played and completed this game, so I installed the community patch that resolves all that, and noticed no major bugs/typos. I loved it so much I was left craving moar.
There's also the D&D'ish pen and paper game and the first PC game which I never played. All of them take place in the same setting.

I pray that in the future there will be a sequel/side story/prequel. They don't even have to change the engine, Source engine still looks beautiful.

Re: Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines
I have to agree I love this game. Ive played through it 3 times to date and it felt just as good each time. I wish they would do another but with the mage system. The guys at planet vampire have kept it going with new patch releases so there may be hope down the road for a fan based project. *shrugs*
Sorry im a /b/tard.

I also pray that the WOD MMO will be good. But I'm really scared that it will suck, since new MMO's these days rarely do anything that separates themselves from the rest of the crowd. If they could just keep the actual gameplay of bloodlines, but make the levels more open, that would be awesome. I really don't want another click'n'wait game.

Re: Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines
Well the one thing that can be said about the mmo is that if ccp does it like they did eve it will be detailed to the point of redundancy. Makes me kinda happy because I know they will be putting tons of effort into it. Im still kinda weary about how they will do the mage aspects of on the fly casting but it should be interesting to say the least. As long as I can role sabbat or technocracy I will consider it worth playing. We will see in 4 years if im right or not. lol

Were you scared during the mission where you had to go into the haunted mansion? I know at times I was shitting bricks.
Another Question: Velvet Velour or Jeanette Voerman? I could never choose...

Re: Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines
There were alot of things that spooked me in that game first time through. The haunted mansion was one of them. The malk mansion was another. Pretty much any where that had flicker lights and jumpy out at you things.
