I (Unfortunately) am probably the only moron who doesn't have it yet. I know Mecha has been playing it along with metal gear online non-stop.

Some people have told me that it's a 15 hour long AARP commercial.

Honestly, it all comes down to if you're a fan of the Metal Gear franchise. If you're not, you'll most likely hate the shit out of it, or at least feel so-so about it.

Finally got my copy of this amazing game and after playing it for several hours, I can safely say this is THE best metal gear game yet. It's the most accessible, and it fixes all the little annoyances previous games had (Crouch-walking, pressing X 3 times to switch stances, Moving while aiming). While it takes a little getting used to, most especially for veterans who are accommodated to MGS3's control scheme, It's pretty tight. So far, the game hasn't let me down one bit.

I do have several annoyances with metal gear online though. Don't get me wrong, the gameplay is MGS4, except it's online, Which is perfect, but the fact that you have to make a separate ID ( you can't use your PSN account ) to play, and the fact that Konami is kind of trying to milk the fans a bit ( you need to buy another character if you desire to have more than one.) is slightly dissapointing. But, the gameplay is so much fun, at the end of the day it doesn't bother me. It's a blast to go online with all the other Metal Gear fans. This game is amazing, go and get it na0!

It's definitely THE game you want to play on the ps3, as was predicted before release.

That's a shame. It's a crime that teachers are paid so little, considering the impact they have on... well, everything. I wonder if it's different in other countries?

I watched someone else play the whole thing. The story was an overwealming disappointment. I'm still really pissed Kojima ruined everything he set up in MGS2.
