lol Since Mario Kart is back on Wii the anger from when I played it on 64 is back..
Mirror Mode..
10 seconds to the finish..
Blue Shell, Redshell and a NPC with a star goes shooting passed me followed by a gang of heavy type characters..
Whoooo 8th x.x
But I find it more funny online, for example Wario's Gold Mine, guy comes shooting off a speed boost and i go half a mile off the track =D kudos to that person. I try to keep calm, but its not possible all the time XD especially if school sucked.
Also you wanna see true rage when someone loses? Meet my little sister :| Scary thing when a Wii Wheel comes flying towards your head...

The only game that I've ever played where I threw my controller and was about to throw my TV out the window was Stuntman for the PS2. It was an average game, and I was playing through the single player. Between movies you do these little stunts for audiences, like jumping buses and things like that. There is one where you are driving a monster truck and you have to complete like 3 laps in a time limit. But you have to drive over cars, like what monster trucks do. It took me literally 20 times to beat it. Everytime I would try to drive over a car, my truck would flip. After a bunch of times, I figured out that if you drive over the cars with only two wheels and not four, the truck wouldn't flip. Fucking game pissed me off.

The thing that pisses me off the most about games, strange as it is, has nothing to do with winning or losing. If you were to take BOTH single player, and multiplayer games into account, the thing that burns my ass the most, is hearing a screaming 12 year old, and the game is set up to where you have a hard time telling who is talking. THAT PISSES ME OFF!

They can be funny, though, sometimes.

Online gaming is a pretty amazing social experiment, as you can see many of the worst parts of humanity as there is little repurcussion to the individual. Makes it really lame on everyone else.

The profanity is pretty harmless, but what amazes me the most is the sheer amount of racism online. I think a lot of it is simply ignorance of the history of the terms and whatnot, but those that actually use them to hurt others is surprising as well.

I don't play online games unless it is with someone I know simply because of the irritating factor. If I do, I do it with no voice.

I don't really understand what someone would get out of being abusive to people they don't know during what is supposed to be an enjoyable online gaming experience.

I can understand frustration and disappointment when things aren't going your way but am somewhat perplexed as to why some people experience such a great degree of rage over what is supposed to be play time. I realise that some aspects of gaming require a degree of skill that a person can feel proud of having acquired, but it's still just a game and I don't think it should turn you into The Hulk.

Wiizer has a solution:

TURN VOICE CHAT THE FUCK OFF!

Yeah, then I sell my Xbox, upgrade my PC, and then play the same games online with a keyboard.

Fuck it. I don't care how many idiots I run into, voice chat is still necessary for quick team play in many games. I can't believe people can make attack plans with a keyboard in time to enact it.

I found a solution to playing online: Play with friends and cool people you meet online. Join clans with people who really enjoy the game. Thats what I did with Halo 2. It made my online experience exponentially better.
