Um... I played the demo and highly enjoyed it. Especially since I wasted anyone I played against. Get off the rectal kick. In either case, I've played it and love it and can't wait to duel online. I've been looking for a good action card game for a long time, and while Mega Man Battle Network came close (in design), it's still not Magic with spells I recognize and love. Mmmmmm... Overrun...
Also, Game Guy might take FFXI. Keep in mind that returning an online game works because you can only have one computer using each CD key.

rectal kick? anyways if you say you like it then have fun. but thats not the magic i knew. personally if you want a real card game try picking up one of the newer yugioh games thats come out. they fit the real game decently and are more of a card game than magic battlegrounds. Which i feel in no way is a action card game. theres not even cards. and while yugioh isn't real time non turn based it is more of a card game, if that is what your looking for. but if you want the real time aspect i would say wait for the new PSO.
