Seriousley, I want it. I love Ocarina of Time, i've beat it trillions of times. It's weird to see a 3D game being remade as 2D, But this looks just plain awesome.

Link to the Past owned ass even after I played Wind Waker and Ocarina and Majora. I can only imagine how crazy 2D Ocarina of Time would be.

This is actually a somewhat old project that will probably never see the release light of day. The guy working on it died tragically at a young age before he could finish it.

If you're talking about the guy who calls himself "Dampe", he faked his own death and used it as an excuse to drop out of the project, rather than just flat out saying " I'm cancelling the project". There's a video where he talks about it ( and I think he's watched one to many 'anon' videos )

BUT, there is another person working on the same thing, who goes by the name of Daniel Barras, and there's a playable demo out, where you wander around kokiri forest. It's mainly just a play test. There IS a chance this could be released, I don't know though, I have doubts it'll happen anytime soon.

If Nintendo would at least make a 2D or 2.5D version of OOT with artwork like that on that DS, (With regular D-pad movement) I would definitely buy it. The Dodongo Cavern boss looks beautiful in 2 dimensions!

This'll be the next big project that the Anonymous group works on.

Ripping the 2D OoT game straight out of Dampe's computer so they can pass it onto someone else that can code it and release it. Oh how wonderful that would be

I liked LttP more than OoT, but it had nothing to do with it being 2D vs 3D. Frankly, playing OoT in 2D would kinda be the equivalent of playing GTA3 in 2D; it just wouldn't be the same.
